is there a thread about the movie theater spec? I brought it up in my post, that the coordinates were closed to a 15 screen theater..and someone else said there was also a theater in the chicago one..has it been confirmed all 4 are around theaters? mm

Are you serious? All 4 are at movie theaters? Can anyone say Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound? Oh, and can you say, Blues suck, Reds rule!

I didn't even know this. That would be pretty awesome, although it would probably mean that everyone would not get to all play at once as I had been imagining. Perhaps they will have a quick 3 hour tournament where they find the best 4 from each city and then those teams of 4 compete against each other (on a big screen with dobly digital no less) to see which emerges victorious.

Also, has anyone SPEC'd at the possibiltiy of there being some sort of puzzle(s) or continuation of the ILB storyline at this event, or will it probably just be a fun event that doesn't tie in other than being a "training session" for the crew.

wait so do we have an actual address/location for NYC beyond the gps? I'm confused, thought we didn't know yet if it was a movie theater.

2nd Ave. between 31st and 32nd street. And yes. There IS a movie theatre on that very block.

I believe the NYC location is a Loew's Theatre. I can't for the life of me find the thread where someone scouted it out. I know the Austin location is a movie theatre, the same location where there was a Red Vs. Blue screening. Of the other two, I know one is a confirmed theatre, and the movie listings for Nov. 4th are "cancelled".

sweet, thanks for the intel. I just talked to a friend who lives in manhattan and he says the theater there is 'freaking huge'. So I can't wait to see it for myself.

Shoot... if we're partying in a movie theater... oh my God... It's a dream come true... *Tears flow from eyes*

Intercity frag fest with a game that's not even released to the general public on movie screens in a party that only certain people are allowed to attend... there's only one thing left to say...

I LOVE BEES!!!

http://www.enjoytheshow.com/nowshowing/showtimedetails.cfm?new_theaterid=AANCL&showall=yes&showdate=11%2F04%2F2004

this is the loews kips bay theater..it lists the address and i also picked the showtimes date to november 4th, just to see what comes up..it lists the shows as normal..not cancelled like chicago's..

so i decided to call the theater and find out if they were hosting a special event on november 4th...i asked simply "are you hosting a special event on november 4th, or will it be business as usual?" the lady, probably clueless either way, sounded kinda of like "what is this guy talking about" as she said "no, i don't believe I know of anything" and i said "thanks" and hung up..heh

570 Second Ave (at 32nd Street)
New York, NY 10061

Let's hope

This is for my own curiosity more than anything else, but it could be interesting.

If you're going to the NYC event, shoot me an e-mail at ILBpartyNYCSPLATgmail.com

Put in there your forum name, crew name if you've got one, your real name if you feel comfortable, any squad affiliation you have, and where you're traveling from. And anything else you want to toss in.

I'll compile it all onto a simple webpage and post the link here.

Thanks!

Separate post to make this more visible:

Forgive the shoddy HTML/lack of page design, just wanted to get it up there. I feel so shamed...
