I'd like to see them overcome the obstacles because they genuinely thought through them & came up with a plan that worked. Not "oh we just happened to find Totheark's hiding spot even though I've literally never even come close to accomplishing this before."

In all honesty, this wouldn't be too unrealistic if you think from the perspective of Tim has been to Rosswood A LOT more than Jay has, and most likely with hoody. Also, I'm still on board that Tim remembers what he does when he's Masky (not 100 percent sold on that though) so it could be possible.

And yeah I think it would be cool to switch up the attention a little bit, I would be a little surprise if our well dressed friend didn't make an appearance in this entry

If Tim really remembers anything he's done as Masky, then that changes everything. That would mean that he's keeping it from Jay, unless he's told Jay all about it in a conversation we haven't seen. If he's lying about that, then he's probably working on a betrayal. For the moment I'm working from the assumption that Tim is on the up and up -- acknowledging, of course, that that might not be the case.

Now, it may be possible that Tim has some memory of Rosswood from times that he wasn't Masky, like from waking up in Rosswood after a Masky episode. If that's the case, then it could solve the random search problem, too. I've been assuming for convenience that Tim has no more memory than Jay, because he hasn't mentioned anything, but we'll see.

The middle ground here is for Tim to have a dim, hazy sense that something bad happened at a specific location, like the Hospital or the Hoody Hut. In that scenario, the Masky personality, or perhaps a wiped memory, "bleeds" into his normal consciousness, somehow, which drives him to a place where something big happened to him (a variation on my working theory of #29, by the way).

Really, all I'm looking for is for Jay and Tim to have a compelling reason to investigate whatever spot they're going to investigate. Lots of things would do fine; I'm just hoping they give us more than, "Let's go to Rosswood and look around because bad stuff happens there," which is the extent to which they discussed it in 63.

Jay and Tim are at Rosswood today, perhaps right now. Anyone hoping for a tweet apocalypse?

At best, we'll probably get a tweet tonight or tomorrow morning like, "just got back, Entry #64 will be posted in a while." At worst, we'll hear nothing for another week, and then they'll be like, "we just woke up in Rosswood, what do you mean it's been a week?"

I'll bet $20 on the latter theory...

Bleh, as much as I'd hate to admit it, you're most likely right. Nonetheless, at least we can be entertained by the fact that IG shit is actually happening today.

For a brief moment, this thread updating gave me a glimmer of hope that the entry had been posted regardless of it being 4:30AM ET.

AND NOW MY HOPES ARE DEAD.

Meh. I just got some of my 3D work done, so I'm heading to bed. Hopefully we'll have a new entry tomorrow night. Smile

After this prolonged silence, I'm wondering if we'll be getting a broadcast from the Hoody Hut showing our brave heroes bound and unconscious while Hoody laughs at us from behind his mask...

Plot twist: Jay forgot to bring his camera with him.

I was sitting around, wondering what happened with Tim, and it got me thinking about Jay's tweet history. Specifically, I wondered how long it takes him to post an entry after announcing that it's coming or that he's going to be doing something. So, I looked back through the wiki, counted some stuff, and I found some marginally interesting results. Bear with me.

First, note that I was counting days between the relevant tweets and entries, but the numbers are calculated by date, meaning that 11:59 PM to 12:00 AM would still count as 1 day, which skews the data slightly, but I didn't have time or inclination to calculate by hours. Also note that I counted 58's events twice because Jay announced and did two different things in game that ended up in the one video.

For the results below, I've broken it down by season. I'm calling something an "Announcement Tweet" when Jay says a new entry is coming out beforehand, either explicitly or implicitly, i.e., "found something" or "something happened." Occasionally I had to make judgement calls, but I think the numbers are fairly close. I'm using the term "Event tweet" to reference tweets where Jay tells us that he's doing something in-game that ends up in the next entry, i.e. "Meeting Tim" or "Going to Rosswood Sunday." I wanted to know the average time it takes to post after an announcement, and after the in-game event is supposed to have occurred.

Okay, now for the numbers:
Season 1:
Entries preceded by at least one Announcement Tweet: 24
Entries announced at least one day ahead: 12
Average time from first Announcement Tweet to Entry: 1.25 days
Average time from last Announcement Tweet to Entry: .333 days
Average time from first Announcement Tweet to Entry, disregarding spans of less than one day: 2.5 days
Average time from last Announcement Tweet to Entry, disregarding spans of less than one day: 1 day
Entries preceded by at least one Event Tweet: 3
Average time between in-game event and Entry: 1.333 days

Season 2:
Entries preceded by at least one Announcement Tweet: 21
Entries announced at least one than one day ahead: 11
Average time from first Announcement Tweet to Entry: 0.857 days
Average time from last Announcement Tweet to Entry: 0.286 days
Average time from first Announcement Tweet to Entry, disregarding spans of less than one day: 1.636 days
Average time from last Announcement Tweet to Entry, disregarding spans of less than one day: 1 day
Entries preceded by at least one Event Tweet: 2
Average time between in-game event and Entry: 2.5 days

Season 3:
Entries preceded by at least one Announcement Tweet: 9
Entries announced more than one day ahead: 9
Average time from first Announcement Tweet to Entry: 5.667 days
Average time from last Announcement Tweet to Entry: 3.778 days
Average time from first Announcement Tweet to Entry, disregarding spans of less than one day: N/A
Average time from last Announcement Tweet to Entry, disregarding spans of less than one day: 4.25 days
Average Time from first Announcement Tweet to Entry, disregarding 62 (car accident delay): 3.375 days
Average Time from last Announcement Tweet to Entry, disregarding 62: 1.375
Entries preceded by at least one Event Tweet: 8
Average time between in-game event and Entry: 6 days
Average time between in-game event and Entry, disregarding 62: 3.429 days

Conclusions: The time between announcement and entry has been significantly longer in season 3, but that's expected, since the earlier seasons were about sifting through footage that could be posted immediately upon discovery. However, the time between the tweeted in-game events and posted entries has also grown, which is slightly less expected, even though the events tend to be more serious this season.

TL;DR: Jay's been putting off posting his adventures more than he used to. Average this season would put 64 on Thursday-ish.
