Dude wears a zentai, it's hardly a big leap.

I find it interesting that Slenderman is a magic or quasi-magic entity, & yet there aren't a lot of series that use magic as a plot device.

That is interesting. I never really gave it much thought before. Besides The Dead Are Watching, that used a ritual and protection wards, and the Broken Heart Chronicle, that used containment wards, I really can't think of any other series that has used magic to drive their story. I'd love know if there are more.

I suppose I always felt Slendy was more of a sci-fi than a fantasy animal. Casting spells on him seems kind of nuts.

Slenderman interacts with video/audio aspects, so it's not too much of a stretch to feel a sci-fi connection to the creature.

Someone posted this on r/slender_man and, well, I certainly wouldn't want to be running from Slendy and then see one of these coming around the corner.

Going off the whole "sci-fi vs. fantasy" aspect, I personally have always seen him as a sort of Fair Folk (the mean, trickster Celtic ones, not the Victorian fairy)

I did a little interesting comparison here, if anyone wants to read it. I don't feel like reposting it here since it's fairly long.

I personally think it all depends on how it's handled. If they're just tacked on to add to the cast sheet, then it shouldn't be there. If the other creatures gets so much focus that SM just stands int he background, then don't add Slendy in the first place. (which goes back to the point I always make- Even if you're making it up as you go along for interactivity's sake, have a basic idea of what your plot arcs should be and what characters/creatures you want and don't want to add.)
