While it is moving its arms, the "shadow" walks from right of HABvan to his left, obscuring HABvan's shadow for a bit.

If you notice, the cameraman shoots the scene from slightly left of HABvan. Not only would it be nearly impossible to shoot it this way (coming from a cameraman), but the light should also cast the "Thing's" shadow differently.

I am afraid to say so, but I think there is somebody else with them.

As for the Not-Rake-bit... I wouldn't say the quote is an indication Jeff doesn't recognize it, if it is the Rake. If you meet your nemesis, and he has this feral white thing sitting behind you, the first question should be "WTF IS DIZ?", and not "Ah, just the Rake, yknow, LIKE IN THAT CREEPYPASTA!"

Jeff (just like us) is looking for answers... which HABvan fails to provide.

Obviously he wouldn't recognize it as "the Rake", but he has seen it several times and would recognize it by appearance.

I meant to say that the "Who is that sitting behind me?" quote may be more interpreted as Jeff asking him who the Rake is (implying it could have been a human being).

You know, all this talk about HABvan and Jeff got me thinking...

Why was HABvan constantly pursuing Jeff almost obsessively? The Green Feathers photo, and now this...

Why pursue Jeff and not Vince? Or is it some kinda of lure for Vince and the Doc to get out of hiding?

Wow, an amazing pair of videos.
Kudos, to their acting and editting skills, as always.

Seems like at some point (maybe while Vinny was gone doing his space-time-dimension travel thing?) HABvan decided to set up a little base of operations by murdering the previous owners, hence the silence and military-esque motions going up the stairs in MOVING IN, and listening to the upstairs door before breaking it in. Assumably doing the deed off camera.

Also, it seems very like HABIT to refer to someone(or their dead body) as a squatter(he mentions the dead 'squatters' still being in the attic/crawl space) after stealing their house and killing them, after which I could imagine HABvan happily polishing his knives, humming 'The best is yet to come' as he meticulously arranges them back into the sunshine helix of metal, death, and fun. I found it to be a bit funny, in that reliably sick and twisted HABIT kinda way.

This video just makes me sad on a meta-level because it made me realize I really don't give a shit about the characters or story of EMH anymore, or how it ends. I've always had my reservations and criticisms with the story and the way it's told, but I had always been moderately invested in the characters until now.

Jeff is dead, Evan is seemingly lost to Habit, and Vinnie is about the last hope, and I truly don't care.

The whole thing has come so far and become so convoluted compared to its origins, which is to be expected of any ongoing story, but I feel like the real heart of EMH, it's characters and it's presentation of The Slender Man as both fictional and real, has been dead for some time now.

Wow, it really seems this way now.

I don't agree, but I respect your opinion nonetheless. Smile

While I personally think Jeff's torture and presumed death is a trap for Vin, someone on here (sorry person, I'd go back and look/quote, but I'm on my phone >.< ) pointed out that HABIT said "That's not all there is to ya, is it?" to Jeff during his monologue. Perhaps something Jeff did previously in the saga seriously irked HABIT-- though I'm clueless as to what he did in comparison to the others...

EDIT: FOR CREDIT

So, I was just reminded of this lovely picture. I know Jeff got rough-housed and such already, but the blood spatters and pale-ness of him in this pic is rather similar to the vids we just watched last night...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
^ Has there been an OOG confirmation that EMH will be ending this year?

Wasn't sure whether or not I should put that in tags.

Terrible last two videos.

This series has hit the rock bottom.
