No he didn't. He gave the camera to Tim a bit before the Operator showed up, and that's the only footage we got from Tim's PoV.

Am I the only one who thinks that Alex was trying to protect them? Why else would he bother telling them that the Operator was nearby?

Loved this entry. Alex is back with a (possible) vengeance. What will he do next? We shall see. But in the mean time, the series has once again gone full circle as we wait to see where Tim has gone. Hmm, that's original.
