Already I can tell this series is awesome. Nerdy main character teaming up with back-wards hat knife-carrying jock guy? Sign me the fuck up.

Okay suspicious new user posting theories. But for reals, I've been a fan of MH, EMH, CaughtNotSleeping and Tribe Twelve for the past 7 or 8 months and never felt the need to post before due to the popularity of those series that whenever I had an Idea somebody had already posted it. Now since this series is fresh and new and I have a great love for the rake here's what I think is going on.

The exterminator didn't so much as bat an eyelid at the camera when he was getting filmed. He obviously saw something in the attic and danced his way out in a calm but urgent manner. I think he knows something about whatever was in the attic(Which we're assuming is the rake at this point yes?). I hope Lee tracks him down and finds out what is happening.

Also OOG:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's probably just due to low budget and being forced to make do with a dude in a morphsuit but the presence we see in Diary entry 4 just broke emmersion for me a little. But on the off chance I'm wrong about it it definitely looks like just a guy in a suit crawling around the floor rather than some random animal/monster. As I said probably just to crew limitations, but I'd be excited if it wasn't.

I was tweeting Lee on twitter, he doesn't seem interested in trying to call back the exterminator. Sounds like things have been quiet.

As was I but I didn't get a response. But really that's all he can do 'cept wait for more shenanigans to go down.

This seems promising! That whispering was so creepy and the last video too. I mean to wake up in weird noises in the middle of the night and then see the Rake crawling in your kitchen *shudder*

Definitely going to follow!

I think if he mght have crawled a bit slower, more animalisticly, it would have sold it better than the wierd-in-a-bad-way lunge thing he was doing.
Also maybe use some paint/other fabrics to drape around the Rake, give him some looser looking skin or use some padding underneath the suit (they stretch, right?)) around the shoulders or along the spine/pelvic bone to give it a more lumpy, inhuman shape.

Yes, that's what made EMH's Rake so terrifying. They used superb camera tricks and distortion plus actual 'cosmetic' effects to create a horrifying creature.

Im not saying this one is awful, though. Just the buildup they've given it in this series is enough to keep my in my seat. They didn't half-ass throw it in. They built it up, in a better tone than EMH did actually.

Yeah I think they could of made the rake look a bit better, but honestly that was pretty creepy and for the first appearance it was a good one.
