like entry 49, they probably retook the shot multiple times until they got it right. they can probably check the footage on the chestcam after recording, just not while recording like you can with a regular camera. if not, the ENTIRE POINT of tim wearing the chestcam is irrelevant and they wouldn't have included it.

Incorrect. Even if they never show us the footage (which is likely, given that we saw nothing from Alex's chest cam after the Operator got to him in the forest in season 2), it would still make perfect sense from a narrative standpoint for both characters to take a camera with them in case something happened to either one of them.

Exactly! I thought Alex made this extremely clear in Season 1. Tsk, tsk.

I think people just tend to forget that sometimes characters in Marble Hornets do things not because it's important to the story, but because common sense would dictate that real people in these situations would do them. Like Jay bringing the knife to Brian's house even though he never used it.

But didn't that same knife get used later on by Tim as Masky to stab Alex at the abandoned house? So the knife was used, at a later date. I call that foreshadowing. We know that Tim was wearing the chest camera, so it could be construed by a lot of us as something we might get to see. Especially since some suspect Tim as being totheark, I mean. I have no expectations as to who is who or what is what at this point, though, I'm just enjoying the mystery!

I'm not saying it's not important to the decisions of the characters. I'm saying they wouldn't put the chestcam in the video if they weren't gonna use footage from it, from an OOG perspective. that'd be a huge troll.

And I'm saying that's still not true. From an OOG perspective we know that just because an object is introduced into the series doesn't mean it will be used. Would it be a troll if it turned out that Tim's camera failed to capture any additional footage beyond what Jay's camera did? Of course not, we have precedent to tell us that sort of thing can happen. Would that mean the chestcam shouldn't have been there? Of course not, because it makes perfect sense for them both to take a camera into Rosswood for in case something happened to one of them. Is it possible that they will show us the chestcam footage? Of course it is, but it's less likely given that cameras in that type of situation in the past have failed to capture anything, and in more than one instance have wound up being broken, and as such, it's certainly not the forgone conclusion you've labelled it as. Not that I wouldn't love for the chestcam to still be working after the encounter, don't get me wrong, that'd be tits, I just ain't getting my hopes up for it.

I think every adventure should have Tim wearing the chest cam even if nothing comes of it. If he goes masky and leaves it running we could learn some serious shit.

While I would love to see some footage covering his vanish in the tunnel and appearance in the car. I wouldn't be put off if the next entry (or next tweet) starts "Tim's camera didn't have any usefull footage".

I would squeal like a girl if this is the case and then TTA was all liek "Nuu uhhh check out this footage bitches"...even though we would have to put the scenes back int he right order and unscramble the audio.

This I don't get. They could just buy the LCD attachment and then this is no longer an issue. Not that they can watch the screen while it's strapped to their chest, but they could check the footage afterwards.

My rather wine-sodden take on this is that we may be in for a reveal here. No one seems to have noticed that Tim was teleported while wearing a camera. As far as I know, it's never happened before, apart from that time at the end of Season 1 when Jay inexplicably found himself unable to leave The House and ended up in the Basement of Doom. Either there will be distortion and Tim will be back at his car and we learn nothing -- OR there will be scenes in the interim before Tim finds himself back at his car, and we learn something important indeed. Either way, we can expect another couple of entries before we see it. I don't imagine that getting the footage will be easy, unless TTA can just appropriate it.

Doubtful, unless it shows Hell, which is where I gather the Operator comes from.

Interesting - an actual supernatural tie to the Operator, instead of just saying "other dimension". Not sure what his purpose would be, unless he escaped Hell somehow...

Although, if he IS from Hell, then Jay could use this line:
"Jessica! If the Operator comes from Hell, then I'm assuming you came straight from Heaven... angel."

Bam.

slendy doll?

Did anyone else notice something white propped up against the far end of the tunnel? It wasn't there in Entry 49 (see attached). Could it be a slendy doll?

Well, I'm not saying the Biblical Hell, but maybe more like an Event Horizon kind of Hell, you know the whole idea of 'a dimension of pure chaos and pure evil' kind of thing. Which is a fairly accurate description of the Biblical Hell, anyway... I'm kind of digging myself a hole, here.
