A scene from Downmycellardoor. We have one of the characters standing in front of an open door, talking to another character.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Then someone -not Slender Man - but someone, walks into view on the other side of the door. It takes a moment to realize that it's an exact duplicate of the character who's talking!
The result is so spectacularly creepy, I actually ended up jumping from fright for the first time in a while!

From TheDeadAreWatching. Leo's freaky-ass face at the end of one of the videos freaked me the hell out. And more recently, the Path of Black Leaves made an appearance with a really classic Slendy scare.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
His gangly arm appears for a moment, just barely in the frame. Then, wham! Slendy in your face, son!

Oh, and
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
thanks Fezstudios!

The last time I was really scared was my first time watching through MH before I even knew about the crazy that is this mythos. Honestly though the creepiest thing I watch now is probably Just Acquaintances, even though it not a slender vlog. For a slender vlog though The Dead are Watching is probably the best at bringing the creepy.

lots of marble hornets sightings freaked me out, and Masky coming out of the room made me jump. That was my first series as well. A really good moment was in dark harvest 14 when he's at the top of the stairs...

I agree. I remember going through season one of marble hornets for the first time not knowing anything about slender man. I got so freaked seeing him hidden in the background of the videos. I would have thought it was real if it wasn't for the fact that he was like 10 feet tall.

It's hard to explain but JustAcquaintances is very good at setting that creepy mood. The one where Mark is filming himself and when what appears to be his shadow behind him suddenly moves, terrified me.

EDIT: This one.

And a lot of the most recent ones were just all kinds of unsettling.

I never watched the Dead Are Watching before, but I guess that should be on my to due list.
