Run over is technically the wrong way to say it, but he has been hit by cars in EverymanHybrid and a few other vlogs.

Or at least, people have tried to hit him with a car. Usually something happens just before impact to prevent him from taking any kind of damage.

Yeah, I think EMH was one. Maybe SAPH. I recall one specifically shot from inside the car and it looked like they went right through him or he disappeared the instant they would have hit him (Slendy was superimposed into the frame in post). I'm not as solid on the names of videos from other series, but if I run across it again, I'll make a note here. Anyway, I think that that kind of thing has happened more than once, but my memory's fuzzy.

 		I always thought out of the 3 major Slenderman series (EMH, MB and TT) that at least one, if not all 3 run on the theory Slendy is an interdimensional being. Since our dimension is not his "home base" he has the powers to manipulate/change/control certain things here, and cannot be injured by weapons, vehicles ect. It's also how he can appear, disappear at will. The distortion the camera displays is the camera's inability to film properly due to the interference his presence generates.

Much like the Final Nightmare on Elm street, but in a reverse way, you would need to attack him in his home realm where he is susceptible to injury. In Freddy's Dead, the final nightmare, Freddy is dragged into the real world where he can be killed because in the dream world he cannot be injured. Same premise albeit Slendy must be attacked in his dimension.

 		The inter-dimensional theory is as good as any, I suppose. It's certainly plausible. I don't know, though. I think that even an alien dimension would be a bit to comprehensible for my tastes. It's too close to plausible scientific theory (at least as it exists in the popular imagination via Hollywood). I guess that's the trouble with the Slender Man, though. If he gets any explanation, it kills some of the menace, but if he remains totally enigmatic, then it's tough to keep the tension up in the story.

 		I know they tried it in some other series, but has anyone in MH tried to shoot the Operator? I seem to remember someone having a gun but it vanishing.

 		Alex had a gun in Entry 52. Jay found a bullet casing in Brian's house once, but we don't know if it was from the same gun or what it was being shot at.

Nonetheless, guns don't seem to work in other series from what I've seen.

Now, you don't know that. He could be omnipresent, which means that if you kill him in one place, he dies everywhere else he is, too.
