I found another one from Rosswood's evening newspaper, too...

So, these past few weeks:

- I've watched Tim get slowly taken (and possibly perma-Maskified) by The Operator as Jay tried to help him up

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
-I've watched Jeff get killed by HABIT in EverymanHYBRID

-I finished Book 1 of Maus, which is a tear-jerking graphic novel about the Holocaust

-I've watched the awesome, but yet depressing, last episode of Red vs Blue's tenth season after getting my DVD in the mail a month early

-I started listening to Iced Earth, whose discography includes MANY depressing songs

-And finally, I decided to read the behemoth of saddening depression known as My Little Dashie.

I really need a bunch of hugs. I can't describe how depressed I feel because of this huge concentration of amazing heart-tugging writing that I've experienced. IT'S TOO MUCH! Crying or Very sad

Depressing because the story is sad, or depressing because it's lacking in quality? If you could PM me the answer, I'd be very greatful. Don't feel like waiting a week to find out *grumble grumble*

Never read it. Read Cupcakes, first and only famous one I've ever touched.

Guess that answers my first question then. I feel ya, though. Last week's Adventure Time put me in a similar mood.

^ Good thing I don't watch Adventure Time, then. That'd just be one more thing to add to my list.

And yes, Season 10's conclusion was beautiful. I would have been content with the series completely ending at episode 200 (which is what episode 22 is; there's 22 episodes, not 21, meaning there's two weeks until you see it), but as Burnie has confirmed, there are more seasons coming.

Oh, and episode 21 contains my new favorite RvB moment, and is also my new favorite episode of all time. You're in for a treat next week.

It's a show on Cartoon Network.

I hope they do what they did with season 8 and give us the final two episodes at the same time. Geez, apologies in advance if my patience runs out and I bug you for spoilers. Thanks though for putting my fears of a series finale to rest. Was starting to seem like they were building to it. Then again, I got that same feeling when Reconstruction and Revelations ended as well.

...Like, is it a good show from the 90s when I was a kid? Or is it one of those new shows that they started airing around 2004?

It's much more recent than 2004. It's only been on a couple of years I think? They've put out four seasons, but they don't do them by the year. Anyways, like you I was a 90's kid, but even considering what we grew up with, Adventure Time is still one of the best animated shows I've seen.

^ Final two episodes at the same time during season 8? They didn't. I remember waiting a week after the Meta woke back up at the end of Episode 19. Episode 20 was just really long, just like Episode 22 of S10 will be (they actually had to split it into Chapter 22 and 23 on the DVD; that's how long it is).

But yeah, Season 10 is ending on Nov. 5, the day before Halo 4 is released. Very fitting, too, because there's a bit of a surprise at the end of 22...

Hmm, thought they had put them up at the same time. Ah well, that was like two years ago. In any case, you've got me all psyched for it now. Still find myself hoping that the Meta is somehow still walking around after season 8.

Possibly...Hehe.

Just wait until next week. I can't tell you how many times I got chills and stood up and cheered while watching episode 21 on the DVD. It's just...It was amazing...I can't believe Rooster Teeth still has it after all these years.

They're legends. Did you see tonight's episode?

Yep. Even though they did the whole "inspirational speech voiced by Matt Hullum to rally the characters for the final battle" thing just two seasons ago, it was still awesome tonight. It's crazy how much the series has evolved since season 1, but taking the characters and plunging them into a genuinelly serious story after Blood Gulch Chronicles was done wound up being a stroke of genius.

Indeed. As good as BGC was, the Freelancer saga was just so much better IMHO. They mixed the hilarious BGC humor with an awesome story. When a series can successfully mix teary-eyed comedy with teary-eyed writing, it has achieved perfection in my eyes. The 'Bonner Street' conversation between Carolina, Grif and Simmons earlier this season was one of the most hilarious moments in RvB.

And also, the ODST guys in tonight's episode were funny as hell. And I loved the homage to the surrender at the beginning of BGC's second season.

I especially like the implication that Wash and Tucker pass the time by capturing the red flag over and over again. Hoping for some badass moments from the two of them next week.
