[SPEC] "Mission Accomplished" from Dana's journal

I think it's a subtle dig at our President, an ironic comment that will lead to the realization that it is far from over. I think we all expect something more final coming up. I'll be ushering in a wedding on Saturday while the rest of you are running around (if that's the day of the next update, as some of us think).

[OT]Oh yeah, and I have no problem with subtle digs at our President. Wink Anyone willing to compromise themselves enough to get ahead in politics shouldn't be running for office.[/OT]

That would be funny.

As to the last, OT comment, I am aware of only one politician that I can believe has not compromised himself or his principles, and who I am willing to believe is a true public servant with the best interests of his consituency and the country in mind.

And he's not running for President. If he ever considered it, I'm sure they'd tell him he's unelectable.

Finally, someone else who believes that John Kerry is a total sellout.

Heh, how's that for subtle digs?

Er...what was subtle about it? The 'misunderstanding' of his point?
