Absolutely not. I enjoy living in the moment.

Yep. Far as I'm concerned they can take their sweet time with it. Gonna be kinda bummed when it's finally over and done with for good.

^This. I love this series and it has served as great inspiration for me. I wish it could go on forever but, sadly, it cannot.

We will try to find another series and we'll greatly fail.

What if it DOES go on forever? Surprise Season IV, anyone?

Marble Hornets Season 28: Tim has a mid-life crisis, dons a mask and starts tackling people, Jay goes to the doctor about his memory problem, and Alex still isn't out of the slammer for the murder of Bruce Nobody, who was just this guy. The Operator has taken to wearing suspenders and tweed. Hilarity Ensues.

What percentage of those will involve shipping, do you think?

Not my exact sentiment, but I do feel that it is, loosely, time for the "Big 3" to go. Once they're gone, I think that new series will eventually surface to take their places.

You have to admit, it's fairly ridiculous how long we wait between entries these days...

You know what. I want to rage extremely loudly every time someone bitches about length of time between entries. I mean shit, it's not like it's the season finale to Reaper and you're waiting for the next season to begin and CW didn't bother to tell you, oh yeah, that cliff hanger at the end of season 2, THAT'S ALL YOU GET! NO MORE SHOW FOR YOU! :V Or you know, how Fox dicked us over with Firefly and didn't even show the episodes in their actual frickin order. Gave us only one season and then Joss Whedon had to shove several seasons worth of material into one 2 hour movie that people had to wait years for. You have to wait 2 to 3 weeks. Do you know how long Doctor Who fans waited for new episodes after the show went on indefinite hiatus in 1989? How about those poor Red Dwarf fans. How long do you think they waited?

Seriously. Boo-fuckity-hoo.

Not realted to MH, but another ARG:

Who the hell decides "let's make a plot about talking someone out of suicide while the villian tries to get the MC to kill themselves because of me being oh-so evil!"

I mean really. Rawr. I've been there, on both sides, quite a lot. And I know other ARG players that have too (IMO, ARGs tend to attract a lot of depressed/BP/BPD-type people for whatever reason) and it's just ridiculous. Why do you make that a plot...:/ It's not interesting, it's not edgy, it's triggery and stupid.

I know I'm probably the only one who got offended by it, and maybe I'm overreacting, but eh, a rant is a rant is a rant.

Meh. They give us the show for free and they've all got dayjobs and other obligations. It's not like they committed to a specific schedule of release dates. Way I see it, we knew what we were getting into.

A buddy of mine recently showed me the first two episodes of Firefly. They were pretty damn good. Does the movie make up for the fact that Fox doesn't know how to market good television or will I wind up dissapointed if I go further?

If it was done purely for shock value then that is kinda desperate and terrible. 'Course I have no idea how they approached it. What ARG is this?

Serenity is really, really good. Watch all the episodes in their intended order, and then watch Serenity. You won't be disappointed, but you will wind up wanting more.

Heh, wanting more I can deal with. If it ended on a cliffhanger, that'd be another story.

Watch it. Watch all of it.

Then, after that, you have the comics!! Cool

Which I haven't gotten yet. But I will. OH YES I WILL.

Wait, I don't understand this.

Cold-Blooded Murder=Acceptable dramatic tension, does not need to be justified, there just to make the antagonist a threat that needs to be stopped.

Driven to Suicide=Desperate & terrible if it isn't part of some kind of giant deconstruction.
