didnt even see this post till now. Anyways, i was the one she asked to send a picture of us doing something silly and include the Italian word for smart. Here's the email I sent her right after she was destroyed (with the same theory that many of you stated here already about her being able to be brought back). Oh, and the message is in response to the conversation we had found here

Pinging, and a third party helping Melissa (Dana), is what got the Princess burned in the first place. Dana is no longer helping Melissa, so Melissa has no way of tracking the Sleeping Princess. If the Sleeping Princess were in the AI equivalent of a coma, Melissa would have no way of knowing it. All Melissa would know is that the rouge activity has stopped.

So what's the analysis on this, on contactme.html:
Quote:
master-sector > !splotch Princess
seeker > !seek Princess friends
Princess friends > !transmit seeker>>transmit proc "Margaret Efendi
?

Melissa seems to have eliminated SP (remember when SP threatened to make the flea go splotch?).
Quote:
seeker > !seek Princess friends
I, the Pious Flea, am looking for her friends.
Quote:
Princess friends > !transmit seeker>>transmit proc "Margaret Efendi
Friends of the Princess, please send a message to me with the subject "Margaret Efendi".
(or possibly, send an email to Aunt Margaret's old address, but I suspect that it's actually the former and not the latter).

Can someone dig up some old flea-speak from contactme.html and see what syntax he used when he wanted something in particular in the subject header versus specifying an e-mail address?

I agree with all but the last part.
Code:
Princess friends > !transmit seeker>>transmit proc "Margaret Efendi"
is what the flea usted to tell the princess when he wanted us to email the Hertzog wav files to him (as attachments, not as transcripts) using the transmit proc as the subject line. I believe a few crew members had success with this method. (I also believe that danatwingSPLAT gmail.com is the correct email address)
So it appears that in the abscence of the princess, the flea is taking transmission matters in his own hands.
(as a side note, it seems that whomever [SPEC]ed that the flea was Hertzog's little creation may not have been so far off.)
Edit part 2: I was wrong, it seems, yet I am glad that I am wrong! Go Flea! Team Flea Rocks!

I shot her an email the morning after her death mostly just saying goodbye and lamenting her loss, but it looks like the Pious Flea is offering to help restore her. Why, I have no idea.

I just wanted to point out (and I have no idea how many people will actually see this) that my submission of Subject 5 information was accepted *without* attached wav files. I only sent the transcripts, but I was one of the first with the correct subject line.

Sorry all... totally busy this week an VERY lucky to have been able to talk to SP and have some small participation in her freedom... and just now found time to catch up on this thread!
Just wanted to say... what a bunch of great looking cats! Cas and Pol now have new friends to look at
C/Banshee
P.S. You are ALL "allowed" to call me Banshee! Only reason I never used it in here is because I've been "celina63" since The Beast, but "Banshee" is my TRUE name (and nature!)

Really.
I don't care if it rains or freezes
'Long as I got my Pancake Jesus
In the hidden messages I send
To the Princess who is Sleepin'.
She's ain't dead, so I ain't weepin';
She's my ever-lovin' AI friend.
Pancake Jesus! Pancake Jesus!
In the hidden messages I send.
Through her trials and tribulation,
Even that "last fortress" station,
With her Pancake Jesus she will mend.
By the Queen she might be bitten,
But I'll send her a fuzzy kitten.
Someday soon we'll play another game:
I know just the guy to tweak 'er
(You might know him as the Seeker),
Soon as we can figure out her name.
Pancake Jesus! Pancake Jesus!
In the hidden messages I send.
I don't care if the night is scary
'Long as the pancakes are blueberry
And this story has a happy end.
With apologies to Ernie Marrs

Just because I'm a correction Nazi. But even if you had www, I don't think it would have worked.

Oops. I tried it again with the extra 'w' and it didn't work then either. But transmit.ilovebees.com does:

Hey, as long as that last drop is used so effectively...
(Hmm, coulda sworn we had a clapping emoticon...oh well.)
...now all we need is to dig another well.
Gotta...get...through!
