Can't open the locked file without knowing what to open it with, probably another RGB puzzle THEN we can open the file.

You have to do the same as the last bitmap image, split RGB then, extract grayscale. Unfortunately, I don't know how to get info out of the grayscale.
Mr.Toasty I need your help on this one.

We can separate the fields, but nothing there pops out at me immediately. There seem to be a few places in the image that look like something stretched out in rows that give me a gut feeling that something needs to be rearranged to make them line up, but what exactly that is I don't know. The nature of the color noise is trying to tell me something but I just can't put my finger on it...

The source image is evenly divisible by three, both height and width...I think the separate RGB components need to be extracted, then combined into one image at a reduced size. When I extract the RGB in GIMP, then save out as raw, there appears to be sections with FF in each raw component. I wonder if removing them will give me the image sized appropriately.

I was able to remove the FFs but the three files I am left with I can't seem to stitch back together. I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong.

I think I was going on similar lines, at least as far as the separation. Nothing more so far though.
ETA - was wondering if they had extracted the color planes from the original and then concatenated them back into one file but haven't found anything there either.

We got a guy from Australia who noticed this picture on his dashboard. He took it with his phone camera. We don't have access to the page he's talking about until Halo 4 is released for us in the US.

Looks like the first piece to the first string. If so, that's 2 left to go for the first string of codes.

Here is a link to my recombined scramble file, it contains RGB in sequence...how big is a private key file? Could this be used to decrypt the datanode?

So here are just about all the things posted ahead of that being released.

Yes, link to new page with that mp4 is:

Watching that video, not sure how we get to a cleaned up image. You can obviously see the shape in our image.

Looks like it is a glyph texture on a sphere. Wonder if the data node is a 3d model format.

The scramble image appears to be a frame from the video, doesn't it? Do you have a spectrograph that can zoom into a certain section of a media file?

Well this was the glyph in the spectrogram.
F with 4 dots, looks to go before 2.
