What do you mean?


I'm speaking generally. This started out fairly simple, with Hale and LISA as out main "contacts" so to speak. Since then we've added numerous other characters, contactable or not, a whole lot of background, which is as far as we know so far, unrelated to the resistance against Horizon on Earth. We're now dealing with strange happenings in space travel, unidentifiable objects, and it doesn't appear to be slowing down.

It's complicated; hard to keep track of it all.


That's where the wiki is helpful..both theirs and ours. I'll try set some time aside tonight to work on ours more.

I think you're right. And if that's the case, my friends on the East coast that were closer to the storm are saying there won't be power for at least 4-7 days. So, as you said, things might be quiet for a few days.

Yes Immersive is actually located in New Jersey. Hopefully, they came through alright. Ryan hasn't posted on facebook since the storm either so I'm betting they are offline for now and it will be a bit before we here from them.

Ethan: Right, uh… This is Ethan Covington, formerly of PTS77 and currently of whatever anonymous class 4 planet we've managed to crash into. ALICE says it's been 2 weeks since our last transmission as per protocol… something. But fuck protocol! If you're out there and you're listening and you haven't figured out how to find me maybe something I say will help. So I have manually activated our transmission capabilities and I'll be calling more frequently, if only so I don't lose my mind trying to have conversations with an AI.
ALICE: I was not built for companionship, Ethan.
Ethan: The last 2 weeks have not been good to ALICE. She's been getting feisty.
ALICE: My personality is the result of an algorithm. Evolution over time is not an anticipated…
Ethan: (Mocking) It is a symptom of prolonged isolation in an unfamiliar territory. Whatever. Fine. So as you probably figured out by now, the planet we've crashed on is at least… habitable? The air is breathable without a suit and the gravity is more like Earth then Atlas so, comfortable enough. Maybe 48 hours after landing here I first "escaped the pod." (laughs) It's basically a giant desert. There's a trench that's a few hundred meters long, probably from where we crashed and skidded. The soil is red and dry. I haven't seen any plant or animal life, although sometimes at night I think I can hear insects? Maybe? For a place this empty the planet is surprisingly noisy. Between the buzzing and the onboard entertainment it's a miracle I get any sleep at all. I haven't gone beyond the sightline of the life pod yet, but I can see what looks like… trees… uh, maybe… on the horizon. So I'll be heading out in a few days to see if maybe it has some water or something. I'm rationing supplies but there is no way they're going to last very long, especially if I can't find something here.
ALICE: As per protocol 672, if you venture beyond 50m from the life pod, a copy of my program will automatically download onto your neural interface allowing me continue to facilitate contact with the life pod and signal for help if necessary.
Ethan: What?!
ALICE: As per protocol 672…
Ethan There is no way I'm letting you on my neural interface.
ALICE: It is an automatic download, it is not your prerogative.
Ethan: There has to be a way to turn it off.
ALICE: I will come with you, and that is final.
Ethan: (Sigh) Apparently ALICE is coming too. I guess that means we'll be chatting while I explore the planet. Until next time. Please come find me soon.


EDIT: Also, this one was labeled Cthulhu in the url, so that's creepy.
