I've seen it done better in daytime. I prefer him better at daytime. Slendy is not a cowardly force that frightens people at night. He removes all feeling of safety during the daytime as well.

I'm not saying he's cowardly, I'm just saying that night time scares can be just as good as day time scares if done right. The first picture I saw of Slendy was the Little Red one, and because of that, I was sort of influenced by the night time aspect. I thought of being alone in the woods at night, a gas lantern in one hand, trying to find my way out, and then turning around to find Slendy standing right behind me. And another thing that probably did it was some of the early stories about him coming at night, and the early videos of Marble Hornets, where it was night time.

But if you prefer daytime, that's cool too, it's your opinion, and I won't try to shove mine down your throat like the Christian church I walk by every day does. I mean, I can see where you are coming from, and I respect that. Daytime is usually viewed as a safer time of day, and for Slendy to appear then, it shatters that perception of safety, making it all the more scary.

I just think that the whole "you don't know what is in the dark" thing is a bit more scary, because you don't know where he is, but you know he is there, watching you, to where as in the day time he is easier to spot.

I am sorry if I'm coming off as a bit critical, I just have a natural love of the night, and I guess that's why I like him better there.

Again, I respect your opinion, and you can disregard mine if you wish.

I'm only looking out for my main man Slendy. I try not to lump him with the spooky monsters of the night.

Well, don't think of it as 'lumping' him together with them, think of it as he is their leader, so he can be in daytime when his minions can't because he is just that bawss.

(off-topic: Ooh, fiftieth post! I'm halfway there!)

A lot of people had it right when they talked about making your Slenderman actually unusual, like making him tall or out of proportioned. I think the second most important thing is to not use tentacles unless you know you can do them convincingly. Some videos have silly looking tentacle

That is one of the more ridiculous articles I've ever seen. Their advice is... buy a suit... buy a zentai suit. DONE.

Well... thanks for the insight.
