It's weird that Jay's acting like Tim might not have left Rosswood even though he watched Tim drive away from Rosswood.

Yeah, going back to Roswood with the intent to find Tim there makes no sense. He knows that Tim left Rosswood, and there's no reason to believe that he went back. The only thing I can imagine Jay could be thinking is that if Tim is in Masky mode or some similar fugue state, then he's attracted to Rosswood, where he was found as a child and in 61/62. But if that's the case, why did he leave in the first place? Surely Jay's not positing two different fugue states - one from the attack, and one that kicked in after 64 and sent him back to Rosswood? That would be convoluted. Why not look for Tim at his house? His job? Contact his doctor? Why jump to the most dangerous possible conclusion? Heck, I'd make a video appealing to TTA for help before I'd go back there with no direction.

And then there's Alex. There's no direct evidence that Alex is there, either. The fact is, we don't even know for sure that Alex was at the Tunnel in 64. All we know is that he knew Jay was there at that time and called him. It's possible that he'd been monitoring the Tunnel via surveillance cameras; that's not such a leap from filming himself 24/7. Another possible (probably more likely) explanation is that he was there in 64, but not because he'd been camping in Rosswood, rather, that he's been stalking Jay or Tim and he followed them to the Tunnel. Even if he was there, the last time Jay saw Alex, Alex tried to kill him. Not the kind of thing that Jay should run headlong into.

Anyway, this kind of thing makes me nervous about whether the plot is going to be justified. I thought that the plans to search for clues in Rosswood (which became 64) were a little ridiculous because randomly stumbling onto clues in a big forest like that seemed too contrived, but they handled it okay by hitting a number of locations without really finding anything. I hope that this turns out okay, too, but I'm starting to get annoyed that the default reaction to a problem is to run off into Rosswood (which is what's been going on since the guys allied).

Jay doesn't have any leads besides Rosswood, Totheark's response focused on the tunnel at Rosswood, Alex finally felt the need to do something at Rosswood, frankly, all signs point to Rosswood. Tim driving away can be easily explained by either getting his mask & coat (which he always seems to do when he Masks out) or simply driving to another part of Rosswood.

It makes sense to me. He hasn't heard from Tim yet. He knows Tim appeared to be in a fugue like state. He know Tim goes to Rosswood while Masky. He knows the tunnel is important. And he knows alex is looking for him. It makes sense that the next step forward would be to go back, because he can't just sit around forever. You can't rely on TTA for everything. Also Tim could have just drove to a different part of Rosswood, or just to get away from Jay. So I think it makes sense
