Um, so I got the blacked parts out of this, if anyone wants them.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Presence, effect and control of your hypothesized "Shaper Mind Virus"
Infecting the research team have been noted
That most of these 'sensitives' have already been 'infected' by the virus (if it exist), it seems that we would be doing little damage to them.
The mind virus prove o be harmful
Control its infection vector, utility to the NIA, and remedy
If you agree to the viral study

Ooooh, gettin' a bit MKULTRA ish- at least IMO. I like. Thanks for getting the redacted stuff for us! And welcome aboard!
There's something hidden in the logo. Looks like a google maps link. http://goo.gl/?????
I'll play around wiht it in GIMP.
EDIT: Looks like there's other words too. TANGO, something, something...I can't figure out how to make them more apparent, working on contrast, I'll play around with the levels a bit, I guess?
EDIT2: Just zoomed in:

Field tripp app So just installed the field trip app - it will ring your phone as you walk around when you are by items of interest - you know the glitch the guy in the videos was talking about...
Has anyone with the app installed tried walking by any of these locations that are being found (the statues and also the locations on this map - https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&oe=UTF8&msa=0&msid=203685585566952099382.0004cd94033b5f5265661
I am near Atlantic City NJ so if there is an area there, i;d go by it... but do we need people walking by these locations with the app????

Sorry if I'm being dense- still trying to catch up on this one- Are we sure the field trip app is related/important to participating? I seem to recall the wiki saying it wasn't. . .
Also asking because I am toying with making a trip to Marfa, and it would be neat if something did happen when you got near that QR code in the field.

circular code and Shaper method Hi there,
thrilled by the project but not enough time for this.
Circular code: to see it you would have to print it out and put a mirrored rod in the middle. this will transform the circular info into a 2-D image (probably you're already on it)
Nobody mentioned about the Shaper Theory (in one of the encrypted messages) . just googled it and found: http://www.ccgholdings.com/creatorshaper-theory/
"The Creator/Shaper Method explores is intended to discover the link between a company's creative ventures and the structure on which those ventures rely."
not sure, but might be we're all just guinea pigs in this!

Hmm, this has merit. Would look bar code-ish ?

Same thought I had the other day. Here it is unwrapped in Photoshop.

Ummm... hasn't the circular code already been figured out?

It doesn't seem like that translation went anywhere.

I've unspoilered the link (simply showing a URL is not a spoiler, and even clicking it takes you to nothing spoilery)
The data posted there is simply a transcription of the bits around the circle. Mine differs around one layer.

Just figured I'd post to add the wiki is a super worthwhile read. There's a lot of stuff done that's not posted here that I really don't have time to transcribe.

Hi, all! I'm new at this but totally hooked on this Niantic thing! I'm trying to figure out the circle puzzle but am coming up with bupkis and would love ideas on where to go next.
I've decoded this thing every way I can think of. If it is ternary, then it decodes to something that is also coded, and I'm not sure where to go with it. First, I agree with your interpretation on that line, catherwood -- the person on schlarp obviously got confused. I also think there may be 3 final layers, though, based on the immediately preceding layer. Regardless, at 2 or 3 final layers, this converts to gibberish in hex and then ASCII. I can't find a converter that will take a string this large from ternary to binary, but it shouldn't matter -- it should decode to hex directly from ternary.
I've tried it backwards (start at the middle and work out), and inverted (treat black as 0 and white as 2), both with 2 and 3 "core" layers. The hex is always gibberish.
Any other ideas?
EDIT: I've also tried treating each layer as a separate polynomial - that doesn't work. And I've tried treating it as two rings of trits separated by white space. That doesn't work, either.

Any thoughts about the Nov 10 audio file? Made me think google is getting a siri but the word of the day made me think of crowdsourcing data or other projects where you have contributions from multiple sources to build the pattern... which fits with the CERN and XM tidbits that have been coming out.

EDIT: Just realized this was already on the wiki. Cool.
Hey guys I'm new to this and I haven't really played any ARGs before. But this looks awesome.
Check this out, I saw the number on the bottom of the nianticproject.com page that said:
ANONYMOUS TIPS
805 3NIA OPS
I know it's the CERN address, but it's also a 10-digit number... phone number?
805-364-2677
So, I called it and the answering machine sounds like touch tones. SPOOKY!!!
I attached a recording of it. I'm half tone-deaf, but I bet they correlate to some meaningful numbers.
