Looks like Whatcom Community College is going to recieve 3 phone calls sunday at 12:00, 12:20, and 12:30, all to the same location. I'll be there. Smile

Wynn, great job! I think some effort should be made now in finding a time and location for Rainier Company to come together and play Halo/Halo 2, get some pizza, and hang out.

Shortly? It's been an hour. Get on with it already. Razz

I'd thank Wynn for his work, too, but it's his fault I'm here anyway.

CALL TO ARMS!!!

Attention Rainier Company! We are the proud owners of 62!! axons this round. And they're all being called in a 2.5 hour window. We need massive participation on Sunday! Everybody must help cover. If you can make it to any of these phones, please sign up immediately! We need all the coverage we can get. I can also try to recruit some others to help cover as needed.

Check the top page. It's a huge list!

I can get Ballard at 12:00. Then I've got some time there so I may be able to pick up some of the Queen Anne ones if nobody is covering those. I'll get both Fremont ones (12:45, 12:55) and Ballard from 13:00 on will be easy.

Edit: Fremont 12:55 to Ballard 13:00 is not doable. Hopefully I can get some backup at those Ballard ones.

Edit 2: First Ballard one is at 13:05. That's nearly okay. Cutting it too close, though. Backup still appreciated. Confused

Should I take you off the Fremont location for now?

Nah, I'll still get both Fremont ones. Pencil me in for the 13:05 Ballard and call it good.

The two Husky stadium phones are going off simultaneously at 12:50 and 12:55. I can get them, but I can't get them both. Can anyone show up to tag team this bitch with me?

EDIT: Shit, they're both going off at 13:00, too.

Anyone else notice that a BUNCH of our phones go off 3 times at 5 minute intervals? I would not be surprised if our chances for a live call were higher, OR if we were asked for some kind of special coordination. It might not be a terrible idea for us ALL to have an organized list of who's going to be where, with a phone list for everyone.

Count me in for any U-District ones. Sunday means no classes, so things will be much easier!

So that means I'll be there to help you out, Safety Monkey.

Also, the people who set up the Yakima axon will be visiting here in Seattle this weekend... I may be able to get, like, my Mom or someone to go get it though.

Yes, Wynn and I are coordinating with him getting one of the payphones in the CapHill area that rings at the exact same time as the one in Factoria that I'll be getting. That way, if there is a requirement for communication between phone locations, we should have it covered.

I'll take the Republican & 15th axons and either the Broadway & John or Mercer & Broadway. Or maybe both if I can possibly convince my wife to help me out.

I'll be joining Wynn at Bella Botega at 12:00, then I will be heading for Capitol Hill. Phone booth Mercer & Broadway at 1:35, where I will be staying for the three calls there. I can hit the Subway axon instead if necessary.

There is still another U District location that needs to be covered at the same time as both Husky Stadium phones. That means we need 3 people there. (The one near the post office is still not covered). Quixote, are your Yakima pals going to be around to help with these?

Besides that, we need Queen Anne, and downtown Seattle covered. Also, feel free to double up if you want to join someone. Never know what will be required this week.

Oh by the way, I decided to drive down to San Francisco on Thursday to see what the hoopla will be all about. Even if it's nothing, I'll still be able to salvage the trip to visit my brother in Reno. Melissa had some kind words for Rainier Company though:

Quote:
Congratulations. Your name has been added to the admission list for
the San Francisco training event.

I am very pleased that a member of the Rainier Company squad will be
able to attend. Your squad has performed quite well, and quite
consistently. You will be an asset to our event.

Here's my situation. I don't have a cell phone so Mel has my home phone #.
I could miss the home call and come down.

Does anyone know how to set up call forwarding if your phone doesn't have the option? # something?

Put me down for the Pike & 4th St. axons.

Is anyone working on a phone list in case we have to coordinate? I doubt that it will be neccassary but I am going to be very busy this weekend and can't work on it.

How bout we meet up somewhere around 2:30-3:00 for some coffee? Sorry Bellingham. Crying or Very sad
