I believe that was a hallucination. Take Tim's medical history into account. It's no wonder that this would happen to him. I feel a reinforced sense of pity for Tim after watching this entry.

If this little trip through Tim's personal hell is any indication, I wonder if he really ever had hallucinations, or if he's seeing something that the doctors (and the camera) can't.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If those are the pills that hold back masky then maybe as a wild half-assed idea he was trying to kill masky permanently with an overdose?

Man. Ten minutes later and my heart is still pumping.

I'm really scared for the next entry. Tim's evasiveness makes me wonder if he won't pull an Alex and try to do Jay in with a big metal pipe.

Also: can we get a frame dump? I'd really love to examine the first four minutes and see what comes up.

What a great entry.

Despite the fact that I love Tim, am I the only one who thinks he's gonna betray Jay on the next entry? In a, I'll-let-you-have-him-so-leave-me-alone-now kind of betrayal. Their meeting, and Tim's whole disposition seemed rather stiff, I don't know how to describe. Or maybe I'm just paranoid.

My point is shit's gonna go down the next entry.

From a story stand-point, you've made an excellent parallel between Alex and Tim! Here's Tim's chance: To stop the years of torment. All he has to do is sacrifice everyone he's once loved to his enemy and he'll be free of suffering. Just like Alex did. So, this could be Tim's character defining moment. Will he betray his friends like Alex, or continue fighting at any cost like I feel Hoody/TTA has chosen to do?

Am I the only one getting the feeling that Tim may be personally connected with the hospital? As in, maybe it wasn't just a hospital, but a mental hospital? As in, with him sitting there in the corner of a burnt room (fire being an element already closely associated with the Operator) he's screaming at unseen people that "HE'S THERE HE CAME FROM THERE" but the unseen people he's talking to don't seem to believe him? It's probably one of my more radical theories, but I think Tim's spent some time in that hospital.

Yeah I'm wondering abut Tim's connection to that hospital too, is there ever a name of it given? If so, is it by any chance also named on those medical documents jay found in the tunnel thing a few entries back?

I have a feeling if it's mentioned anywhere, it's on the paper in Tim's medical records which is entirely blacked out beyond the date.

Yeah, that's unfortunate, im seeing a big connection though, obviously whoever left the records there for Jay wants him to figure something out, possibly that that hospital was where he used to be in.

My theory on what Tim was yelling at: I think it was almost certainly this "Masky" entity and that exposure to the Operator makes the Masky personality more prevalent. There's also something supernatural about it though.

Someone brought up him using the pills to try and "kill" Masky, and I think that's spot-on. Yet, why did Tim survive the overdose on his own?

How did Tim get out of that OD? Did he just get lucky or did something/someone help him out of it?

(This entry has got to be my favorite so far. It seems a little uncouth to mention the word "sleep" ever again.)

Edit: vis a vis what Tim was seeing... could be Masky or the Operator, but since he says "he came from there" I'm sort of leaning towards Slendy. Maybe Masky appears to Tim in visions, but I think it's more likely that he just overtakes Tim's personality--only the Operator actually appears/teleports.

Something worth noting:

Right around 1:21 as Tim is under water, it looks like he almost comes to the surface, and we see a quick flash of the tunnel ceiling.

I noticed this too in the first viewing. When not paying too much attention, it actually looked like the water was in the tunnel. Obviously this was editing trickery, but it was done pretty well and it may have had this intention.

This thought definitely went through my mind, but I feel like he's not angry enough for that--he's not acting like Alex did when he pulled it.

Bruce's blood still looked fairly fresh. Does time pass differently where his body is kept?

Tim spent some considerable time in that other place, and was soaked there, but came back dry and before Jay got back to the car, so it would have to pass very, very differently there.

I also think that Tim may have been followed by the Operator when he was young just as Alex was. Maybe the Operator is why Tim has a history of mental issues?

If Tim chooses the former, I have a feeling Hoody will step in to protect Jay. Think about how beneficial Hoody has been to Jay, what with returning his camera to him and providing him with Tim's medical documents. It all adds up. Laughing

GREAT ENTRY. How is Tim not dead?

Hate to say it, but that was not worth the wait. They just take way too long and it takes me out of the damn story. They shoulda filmed ahead of time to avoid this crap. Let's all hop the next entry is in no more than 2 weeks.

He doesn't have to be angry at Jay. Maybe it's something he feels he has to do, sort of like a necessary evil, so he can finally have a normal life.

Another reason why I think Tim is gonna betray Jay. How did he survive? Is the Operator just not letting him die, or did Hoodie save him and now they're in cahoots to sacrifice Jay to the Operator or something?

okay now that I'm done freaking out about that

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I agree with those who said Tim has a connection to that hospital--that it was probably a mental hospital he went to. Also, I was so sure he was going to die after ODing...how did he not die? That...he's superhuman...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Or The Operator brings him back every time he tries to kill himself.
