Most likely, yes. I mean, what else could it be? An ice cream sanctuary?

The Operator's pocket universe? The place where he lives/takes his victims?
I mean, either that or the Ark, really. It's just that I don't like the idea of the Ark being the Operator's domain; why would Hoody want to go to enemy territory?

Unless, of course, he's planning to go there to save the rest of the MH crew. Then that really might be the Ark.

Well I'm gonna play the hospital card and assume that the hospital is definitely the ark.

If not then it's the "dark world" where the deceased are brought. But heaven knows why TTA wants to get in there...

Maybe it's the Operator's home and that means that the Operator's weakness is there. Maybe, just maybe, Hoody knows that something in that dimension can destroy/hurt/control the Operator. Or maybe it's not the ark at all and is just where the Operator brings his sacrifices. In which case will we find Seth/Sarah/Jessica/Everyone there? And how sane would they be if they had survived living in there for so long?

If people even can survive there for longer than Tim's dive... He was pretty close to death at least a few times. My question is, why would the Operator go through the trouble of abducting him, torturing him, and returning him to the real world, especially when Tim wouldn't remember the ordeal? Does he need Tim for some reason? Or is he just evil/likes doing it?

Hoody might know the secret to stopping the Operator, but the only way to carry it out would be to infiltrate the Ark.

We have a few possibilities:

1. Tim has a "resistance" to the Ark and was able to get himself out of there before real harm could be done.

2. Totheark or the Operator decided that Tim was not ready for the Ark and sent him away.

3. Tim has been trolled for shits and giggles.

Three things:

1) I'd like to express marvel at this entry. Even stepping away from it's place in the story, in a pure cinematic sense, this was the best entry of the series by far.

2) http://s15.postimage.org/ua6ijavop/vlcsnap_2012_11_20_00h48m06s7.png

maddielyne posted a screen dump, all credit to (i'm assuming) her, I just forget how to quote an image, so whatever. Anyway. Something that stood out to me here was that it's squared off. That's not in the tunnel. It's probably in the hospital. That's relevant. Also it reminded me of this.

http://s12.postimage.org/ipkh2eeyl/image.png

Obviously not a perfect match, just something that popped into my head.

3) The only unique contribution I have, and it's probably worth zip. But I read through all the pages, and unless someone in the last 5 minutes said it, I'll avoid trout at least. Did anyone else find the format of the video strange? There have been other entries with no lines of text from Jay, but of all of the entries in this entire series, this seemed like the one begging for it the most. In addition, after chest cam goes black, Jay's voicemail plays. It was obviously edited into the video, but why does Jay have a recording of how the voicemail sounded on Tim's phone. Traditional series format would have been the end of the video first with Tim giving Jay the chest cam, then a wall of text from Jay 'I got home and located a charger for the chest cam, this is what was on it' or something. Then the chest cam footage. Obviously occam's razor would support the conclusion that they sacrificed a little bit of continuity for the sake of dramatic effect, but that would seem to be a departure from how Marble Hornets has been handled thusfar. Which leads to my question. Are we sure Jay upped this? I know the twitter format was the same, and this is kinda batty, but what would unforum be without baseless wild spec? Someone at least tell me this isn't the dumbest thing you've ever heard and I'll feel good.

I'm sure Jay just tried to make an easier transition after just seeing Tim take all of his pills at once. Cutting right to the voice mail was a bit easier than text in a way, I suppose

Like I said though, how did he even have the voicemail? Tim didn't give him his phone.

EDIT: I hope I'm not the nitpicky asshole that discovered a continuity error, but I think I did.

It's actually Tim leaving a message on Jay's phone. But I thought it was Jay's voice at first too, and it greatly confused me.

My guess for Tim/Jay to see in the video; if he can port away Bruce and leave his outer shirt, then why would he leave Tim's camera on/ turn it on and off at certain parts, or why would Jay's camera show what was happening, sometimes from third person, when Jay tackled TO in the hotel room. Or maybe TO is a little too eldrich and trying to apply reason will only make your head hurt.

Since comments are not allowed and the format is the same on twitter, I think it was probably Jay. He might have been in shock after he saw the footage of the chest cam, and that's why he didn't comment on anything.

Or maybe, and this is just a theory of mine, after he saw the footage, he suspects that he shouldn't be trusting Tim, in case he might want to do something to him like Alex did (hey, let's go to an abandoned location to show you something undisclosed), so he didn't comment anything so Tim wouldn't know that Jay was suspicious of him.

Also, what is that green light thing?

Oh, it sure is. Thanks for clearing that up. That (thankfully) puts my little speculation to bed.

Possibly nitpicky, but I do want to note that it is possible to panic when you're not in your right mind and take way too much medication. I've done it myself(sucks, btw; don't try this at home). It's possible he wasn't trying to kill himself, only that "dammit it's not working dammit dammit it's not WORKING! fine I'll take ALL OF THEM!"

Just one relatively minor theory, though. I don't want to put myself as ~the authority~ on psychiatric meds, I just know the experiences I've had, and TO ME that looked more like panic, hesitation as the realization that he might die hit him, and then a "fuck it, I will ingest whatever it takes to make the voices stop."

Just personal opinion, of course.

I'd say from a storytelling perspective it was pretty neat. It just shoves you in there, no commentary, just to swim in everything before pulling you out with the details of what led up to it, for the people who were wondering when Tim decided to trust Jay with anything again.
