That's a weird shot; it looks almost like a drawing of bricks if you look at it the right way. It's like you're in the bottom of a well, an unpleasant metaphor after we can speculate what water now does.

Judging by its color I thought it might have been Alex's flashlight during entry #57, but it's hard to make out anything from that image. I mean, there's something that looks like a black hand clawing at a wall, can't really say. It's creepy anyway.

Also, that red face is supposed to be Tim's agonized scream of terror , right? But if he had that chest cam on, how is that take even possible?

So temporarily ignoring the fact that I will in all likelihood be unable to sleep, we can infer several things.

1.) The Operator is a bastard. A tall, skinny bastard.

2.) ERMAHGERD TIM SO MANY FEELS SO MANY FOR YOU

4.) Bruce was there, but not decomposed at all. Either Tim went back in time, or Oppy's Happy Fun World has some sort of creepy body-preserving properties like any good larder should OH GOD WHY DID I SAY THAT.

3.) Tim's totes gonna hit Jay over the head with that pipe. Calling it.

Now, if you'll all excuse me, I'm going to go crawl under my desk and cry some more...

I can't believe so many of you are speculating that Tim will lead Jay into a trap. If that happens, I will lose my faith in this series, despite tonight's exceptional entry.

theories of mine:

i think we can assume that whenever someone is teleported, they are going through some kind of scenario that tim went through here. a few times now we've seen jay's camera (entry 40?) and alex's camera (entry 43 right before the clearing) show signs of teleportation like tim's did, but up until now we just assumed it was jay's editing. this must be what happened to jay during entry 50's 15 minute gap. teleportation will also explain how hoody got out of rosswood so fast in entry 41. however, why doesn't he seem to ever be getting bothered by the operator? weird

- totheark's "broadcast" is obv referring to this underwater submergence


- alex genuinely wanted to help jay until jay stole the tape incriminating him. alex probably wants out of this as bad as tim does, he went and bought a chest camera in between seasons because of it. i'm going to go with "alex has been through what we just saw tim go through, and so has totheark"

- jessica probably went through it too, and the thought of her coming to from it is horrifying

- this place is not some "alternate dimension", it's just teleportation

still want to know WHY the operator is bugging people

This Entry was absolutely incredible. Beautifully shot, masterfully paced, superbly acted. Tim's breakdown and crying in the hospital was one of the most chilling scenes in the series as far as I'm concerned. (Also, Tim getting dragged across the ground and screaming, HOLY FUCK.)

I don't care much for going around in circles speculating, so here is a list of a few things we've learned from this Entry:

* Different cameras are affected differently by The Operator.
* Tim's voice (like Alex before him) now has the Slender Distortion at certain times.
* Jay's voice does not.
* We actually see what being teleported by TO looks like. Somewhat, anyway.
* All the water imagery in TTA's videos is referencing the teleportation experience.
* It can be inferred that Tim has been visiting the abandoned hospital for some time now.

Wow do I feel bad for Tim.

Pretty damn certain that Tim is gonna fuck jay up in the next entry if they go to the hospital. O.o

Re: Ark speculation. This is premature. If what we saw was Bruce's body in The Operator's private VictimSpace, the one thing I think we can definitely say about it is that it's NOT The Ark. "You will lead us to the ark" -- why would anyone want to go there on purpose? And why should anyone need to get led there? All you have to do is run afoul of The Operator and you'll get there eventually.

I wonder... Some people have disappeared. Others have not, including some who Alex *thought* were "gone". Could it be that those who have not are able by one way or another of getting out of Operator Space themselves, and that's one reason they draw extra Operator attention? If Hoody has figured this out, and can get to a private space on his own, that explains both the Hoody Hut AND the fact he always seems to know what's going on before anyone else does. Rossmoor and the hospital may be special loci for access to this space, or have some connection to/through it that makes them related.

Incidentally, I don't think that's a mental hospital in #53; just a mental health clinic. The same sort of place you might go if you were on antidepressants with a more typical sort of clinical depression.
