 		How Close Did You Get & When?
In May & June of 2011, we made 3 trips to Floyd Bennett Field with shovels, a wheelbarrow and a metal detector. We searched around the North 40 woods, near the model airplane field and the road that goes into the woods from there. I'm pretty sure we got within 100 yards.

After 3 failed visits, I reinterpreted Clue 4 and wound up elsewhere, obviously to no avail.

Who else searched Floyd Bennett Field? North Forty? When?

 		Since one was supposed to go 250 Captains Feet (about 3 inches or the size of a crayolee), I think we got within 100 feet.

Too bad we failed to notice the "Black Gates of Hell."

My cousin lives in Manhattan and we teamed up. I spent 2 weeks actually searching in October 2010, but have been working on it this whole time.

Besides you've got to go where the treasure takes you. I have two words for you- South Dakota!!
