The concept of the Improbable Connection is strong enough to hold quite a few plot lines together.

Crash, Pulp Fiction, Cloud Atlas....

My personal pet theory is that Alex, Tim, Jessica, and TTA (whoever it is) all grew up in Rosswood Town together and got stalked by TO as children, but they were so young and TO's memory wiping powers were so strong that they all forgot about it as adults. Alex, Jessica, Tim, and TTA were all TO's "chosen" for whatever it is he's trying to do, and during the MH shoot having three of his Chosen (Alex, Tim, and TTA) in one place brought him back after his many years of absence. Alex and Tim both fell under TO's control, but TTA was somehow able to break that hold over him (maybe it has something to do with Jay and the Ark?). Well, in entry 16 and 18, TTA wanted to meet with Jay, but TO sent Timasky to intercept Jay, so TTA had to flee DA HAUS that night. S/he left the doll for Jay in the tunnel as hir way of saying "I was there". Sometime in between S1 and S2, TTA was able to help Timasky break free from TO's control as well, and they both teamed up against Alex. TTA wanted Jessica for the team as well, but TO couldn't risk three of his Chosen teaming up against him, (because some of his powers had accidentally rubbed off on the Chosen due to their overexposure to TO as children) so he forced Alex to call and tell Jessica that he found Amy. So in entry 52, Timasky was there to save Jessica just as much as he was there to save Jay. What happened to her after entry 33 I'm not sure, but I'm fairly positive she's not dead, though she may no longer be sane. I know this seems like a lot of clutching at straws, but let's be honest here, we don't really have that much evidence to work off of in this series.

When you say "Crash," do you mean the book of the same name by JG Ballard about people who are only sexually aroused by car crashes, which was made into a 1996 movie of the same name by David Cronenberg? Or the shitty 2004 movie about black people?

What a strange coincidence, a few hours ago my friend had just told me about 1996 Crash... (It's almost like we have an ... improbable connection) I'd far more prefer reading the book over watching the movie, which ultimately seems like it would be boring.

Did you really think the 2004 was that bad? I'd say it has its moments.

The movie won awards I think, didn't it?

Masky, on the other hand, might.

It's possible that Tim repressed the memories.

I think it's more likely the memories have been removed, just like Jay not remembering the production at all, and then later nor recalling his 7 month hiatus.

Removed by The Operator.
When Jay confronted The Operator in Entry #52, he made Jay forget about the 7 months of trying to find Alex, then trying to find Amy, then gathering evidence that Alex is lying to both Jay and Jessica about trying to find Amy.

And that might also explain why Jessica couldn't remember any of that either.

Yes. It was that bad. They shouldn't have called it "Crash," either. Now whenever I try to find the DVD of the real movie, which is about sexy car crashes, Amazon keeps recommending Tyler Perry movies to me because I viewed the DVD of the 2004 movie.

It was an alright movie, but I guarantee most of those awards came about because it was about racism. "It's politically challenging(read: It's propaganda for views I agree with)/exposes America's racism" is about as important as "It's good" to the people giving out these awards.

Re-watcing 65, I got to thinking:
When Tim attacked the wall that said "HE Is A Liar," could it be that he imagined he was beating Alex (or Totheark) to death?

"Sexy car crashes" sounds like a good name for a band.

Implying Cloud Atlas held together and wasn't an incomprehensible, pretentious mess.
