alot of the information you receive changes. Rather then getting messages from the Church (Malcolm) when you make a time jump, you instead receive updates from Henry. Also, some of the documents are different and many of the emails are different. Oh and the entire audio blog changes as well!

So by siding with Henry (NOT answering the history question) you are allowing him to show you what HE says is the "truth". and by siding with the Church (YES answering the history question), you're letting Malcolm show you HIS version of the truth. It's all about which side you want to believe is the "good guys" and therefor want to support.

Welcome man, nice to see some more fresh meat. There IS a wiki people from this forum created a while back - http://interdimensionalgaming.wikia.com/wiki/IDGi_Wiki - although it's not TOO much help on how to proceed and is more about logging and keeping track of the insane amount of content and information. Its also mostly out of date and doesn't include anything about the Emails or much of anything from the second part of the game.

As far as where you're at. I recently played the whole thing again about two weeks ago and after beating the FIRST hangman game (the really basic one), I returned to the desktop and the hangman guy was hanging from the top of the screen. I moused over him and he dropped down and then ran around the desktop. You SHOULD be able to click him though, to trigger/start the more advanced version of the Hangman. I know he tries to avoid the cursor, but you can definitely still click em!

Looks like they've got themselves a Kickstarter going for the 3D game connected to this A.R.G. I must admit, this is not only NOT what I expected their game to be BUT at the same time in a very, very good way. Looks really quite unique and fun.

I HATE shoot-em-up FPS games and this looks to be a heavily character and story driven FPS with RPG element. right in-line with the A.R.G. i guess is the idea. A "companion to the A.R.G." so says the write up. Maybe this 3D game will start answering some of the eight trillion questions this bloody A.R.G. has raised since it started up like 3 years ago!!!!

Something new has apparently happened on the other side of the rift with the bot (see the Corporate blog). I have a new computer now, so I'm having to play through the game again. I'm trying to download the first converter file with the "seeker/blind" password prompt, and I can't remember what to enter. UN: Seeker PW: Blind doesn't work. I've also tried my keyword twice, no dice.

Does anyone remember what to do here?

I'm not sure what to tell you Duke. It might be the coding got screwed up on the password screens. The best I can tell you is to send an OOG email to Vidal about it. Though I don't think you have to download the file to proceed if I remember correctly.

On the subject on the bot, I've gotten these things from it:

All questions can be asked by "Who is" or "What is". I haven't seen much other questions answered not in this format.

Okay. I actually already have an OOG email thread going with one of the actual employees (got the email address off the Kickstarter page). I'll ask next time he replies.

So THAT's why I couldn't get the bot to say much! I tried all those things, but it had said "give me a question or a topic," so I wasn't starting with "what is." I might go back and try again now...

hey guys. just wanted to chime in. spent some time with the bot tonight and it more or less appears to be a repository of information that people like us mostly already know. it's only up to 2028 as well because the bot doesn't have a clue what the hell consortium is ooor knights or rooks or any of that stuff. some of the generic replies still say "i am still learning" and so i assume they will update it over time.

couple things of note

i've noticed you need to use the full names of people, or it often returns as broken or the bot corrects and asks for the full name. ive found quite a few working questions outside of the "what is" and "who is" stuff. nothing 'new' persay, but i still had some fun with some of the whackier replies such as asking it "are you gay" or any number of such typical questions. but yeah, it looks like things need to be very specifically worded for it to understand.

"does henry like kevin chard" is a random example that works. or walter greenberg.

"is malcolm thomas filing a lawsuit" surprisingly worked, tho almost anything with malcolm thomas and the word lawsuit gives this response.

quite a few "does henry believe in..." worked. like "believe in god" or "believe in reincarnation" or "believe in the guardian church"

LOL try "is obama president?" had a REALLY good laugh at that one

If you mean in terms of progress in the game itself there is no shortcut. You just have to play it again all the way through.
