 		Heating up
Things seem to be heating up in the new case. Active email correspondence with characters, a little hacking. Lots of fun so far. I'm interested to see where this is going.

Interesting note, one of the emails in Stu's spam folder is from Mikrotone. Other of Mikrotone's projects? Well, they run the color tone thing, also in the spam emails, and Alternet Reality itself. Wow.

And to explain why the serial number didn't show up in Google at first:

I must say, I like this game, but it's a little sloppily ran. Okay, done breaking the wall between game and reality now. For actual in-game thoughts, looking in the source code of 2ndhandsurplus.com, there are a few serial numbers listed with the main one that we haven't seen. They don't turn up anything in the site search last I checked, and I really don't know what they're for.

It did for me, well in the search tool in the case items thingy. AFAIK it still doesn't pull up anything on regular google search. re: the google forum thing, I can somewhat feel the devs pain. Have you tried SEO? It's complicated unless you've been doing it a while.

[edit: Then again posting about it in google's forums when their players are going to be using google to find it was pretty silly]

I'm thinking herring, or at the least misdirection. Trying to make us look one way when the answer's really the other way, that sort of thing.

Hmmm, your right, it still doesn't show in regular Google, could've sworn it did... Yeah, I understand their difficulty, just figured they should've had this worked out earlier. But meh, I'm probably being too hard on them.

Not that I know of, no. Though I agree that'd be a bit helpful, especially with the pressure to stay in character on the main forum.

Speaking of which, I've sent a PM to Dr. Backe about any shady goings on within the O.D.D. Waiting to see what that might turn up.

 		I don't know who's been following all the activity on the forums, but I have some commentary on it that you might want to check out posted over at http://alternetreality.chatango.com/ Feel free to go and agree, disagree, add your thoughts, whatever. I just don't want to post it anywhere I know for sure that the ODD will check... such as on the main forums.
