I did a search for Tron: Uprising on my DirectTV service, it found the next two episodes, "The Reward" and "Scars Pt. 1" listing them as showing on Oct. 19 and 26. However it found no other episodes after that.

But I am with you. I can't see this series going any further the way they've handled it up to this point.

Continuation of Tron Uprising

Like I wrote at the tron-sector forum...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTCumE2pq9Q&sns=em

Confirmed 18 episodes. Right from Bean's mouth in the video clip. I got the distinct "vibe" that all 18 episodes are "in the can", and don't require any further animation, voice work or development.

That's really good news! Bean and Co. are considering all these episodes a "single season", but who knows how Disney's going to release it. Disney could easily show "Rewards" (confirmed for Oct 19th), then the two scars episodes, and then make the remaining 8 episodes "another season", who knows.

Totally Not Confirmed: Whether or not Disney picks it up for a "Season 2", which is what Charlie implied any additional episodes beyond the 18 "in the can" will be. They definitely indicated that episode 18 leaves the continuation WIDE OPEN and they have enough story line and writing finished, but no green light from Disney (yet) to take it any further. The video clip even "pleaded" for people to tell their friends and get viewership as high as possible.

It's just my opinion, but increasing awareness and viewership for the Tron Uprising series is CRITICAL for another season, and potentially another movie. I'm fairly confident (although this is just My Opinion) that if the Tron viewing audience declines for the remaining 11 episodes, it will not only kill the series but would probably kill plans for a Tron 3, regardless of what Mr. Boxleitner says. Here's hoping that either I am dead wrong OR the Tron Uprising series is a popular hit, not just a "well reviewed" hit.

well, the weekend came and went, and the show did not appear on my cable channels (neither regular Disney nor DisneyXD -- what's the channel called on your DirecTV service?). Could Disney really have shunted the remaining episodes off to only DirecTV subscribers? How is that going to help build an audience?

I'll keep searching. I fight for the viewer!

It's listed as "DXD" when I scroll through my channels. I believe it's Channel 291 on my DirectTV listings. I had my DVR set to record it, and it did. But the surprise for me was that it aired at 7:30pmET. I was expecting at least 8:30-9:00pm.

 TRON:UPRISING:GROUNDED
DISNEY XD SHOWS TRON LATE AT NIGHT 1:00AM DECEMBER 3RD, 2012

On December 3rd at 1:00 am(Mountain Time, in the Phoenix Metropolitan area, City of Mesa specifically, Cox Cable) Disney XD showed Tron:Uprising the ''Grounded'' Episode. There was no advance warning and no advertising on Disney XD before this episode aired.

Not sure entirely why this was done.

Just Reporting the facts.

End of line,

David Norell

Thank you.
Please, if possible, keep posting that kind of information here. I'm watching the people on the Tron Lives facebook page freak out 'cause they can't find any information on when it gets aired.

It appears that the show has moved to Sunday nights on DisneyXD at 9pm (but has not yet returned to the regular Disney Channel yet). As far I can tell, they dropped several episodes from the schedule:
"The Reward" (ep.1.08)
"Scars, Part 1" (ep.1.09)
"Scars, Part 2" -- did these ever air on DXD*?
(*referring to Comcast or other cable carriers, not DirecTV)
then these crop up on the TVGuide:
12/02 "Grounded" (ep.1.11)
12/09 "We Both Know How This Ends"
12/16 "The Stranger" (ep.1.13)

The IMDB page shows all 13 ( not 18) episodes as having been aired already, but that is probably counting DirecTV for their first run dates.

Sadly, the last episode I saw was #1.5 "Identity" back when it was reairing on vanilla Disney, but my TiVo look-ahead shows zero scheduled for the near future.

Yeah my DirectTV channel guide is showing the show to be on Disney XD at midnight ET on Sundays. Sorry but I gave up my after-hours living about 15 years ago. It found "Grounded" and the next episode. I haven't searched it lately to see if it has found any other episodes, but at the rate this is going I personally think Disney is going to sweep this under the carpet and end it without telling anyone. But that is just my two cents.

Is it just me, or does it seem like Disney is killing Uprising on purpose? I mean, who's gonna watch it if die hard fans like us are having trouble finding it? I've got my Cox DVR set to record all new episodes on Disney XD, and even it misses the show.

Just got an email from Disney. Tron uprising album is due out 1/8. It's mostly songs inspired by the show...which is awesome.

It's available to preorder on iTunes

Was anybody as stoked as I was to see the "Tron Lives" font from the graffiti in the last episode matching the "Flynn Lives" font?

Was your last episode called "Tagged"? It showed up in my TiVo listing, but the online TVGuide had it preempted. IMDB doesn't even list it as a regular season episode. (And since i don't get DXD, I can't say whether it aired on cable outlets at all.)

(bump)
Likewise, another Sunday rolls around, and the online TVGuide does not list TRON Uprising at all for tonight. Scrolling ahead two weeks and digging deep, I find the title reappears at midnight! (Sunday January 13 late night == 12am Monday the 14th) The guide does not give an episode title.

And now I see January 6th at midnight is "Welcome Home".
And... tonight at midnight is "State of Mind". I assumed it really did air last week after all, just in a new time slot. Great. Midnight. On a premium network which is not part of my cable line-up. Just great.

Back after losing my computer to hardware problems
Tron TV Show

Back after too many weeks and having to ''search'' emails to find this site again(had it saved as a desktop icon but had no other way to find. Luckily sent a link to someone(myself) just in case i lost this.

As reported before, ALL the latest episodes of Tron:Uprising have been showing at 1AM local time In Mesa AZ on Cox Cable on Disney XD. Hope everyone has been able to keep up to date on this.

Potentially, it could be there were complaints from parents groups of the violence and ''death'' of derezzed characters so the show was moved to late night to keep the franchise going.

Some good news about Tron Uprising. Despite the show being tough to find, there was an increase in the rating.

The following was taken from www.isnnews.net
Quote:
WHEN WILL YOUR FAVORITE SCIENCE FICTION SHOWS RETURN?
With the holidays and breaks of one sort or another, everyone must be asking when their favorite shows will return. Syfy has pulled together a great list giving us some answers.
Doctor Who had a huge night with its annual Christmas special, while Tron: Uprising returned to a big boost.
MONDAY
Revolution (NBC) â€" OFF
Revolution is on a long midseason break. We won't see it again until March.
Tron: Uprising (DISNEY XD)
.26 million viewers/0.0 (Dec. 17) and .43 million viewers/0.1 (Dec. 24)
Tron: Uprising basically broke even the week before Christmas, but got a big boost for Christmas Eve, rising to its highest viewership since last June. As we head into the final stretch of the show's first season, we'll see if the trend continues.
