It would help if it had been translated into morse correctly. I don't know where he got that line of code from. Here I have directly ported it over from the original numbers.

..----.-...--..-...-..-...

If it isn't morse code, then 2 and 5 are put there deliberately. The chance that would happen randomly in the frequencies they did is ASTRONOMICALLY low. This was done on purpose.

I don't know if anyone has posted this, but if you listen to the ''music'' in the backround of the video sped up x2, there's a voice saying ''safe people'' or ''save people'' sth like that.

Well 2 and 5 are just flipped images of each other. Maybe it's got something to do with that

We're paying attention to the first part, but not the second. Jay thinks each number pair means multiple letters. No one seems to be doing anything with that, partly cause no one knows what it means. Especially not me. Expanding on this

"Two of the pairs are mirrors and are grouped together twice. 27-72 and 57-75. Not sure what that could mean yet though. Common letters?"
Jay thinks the mirrors mean the same "multiple letters" as their mirror counterparts.

and finally
"Just noticed a few of these numbers have a pattern. First digit plus two. 13, 24, 57, 68, 79 all follow it."
so probably only the first digits in those matter, or maybe only the second digits matter.

But I have no idea how we could possibly find out which "multiple letters" correspond to which numbers. It's not a simple A=1, 2=B, C=3 thing, we tried that. I'm not saying we should quit for now, but I think maybe we'll need Tim to figure it out all the way. Just my theory. In the mean time you guys keep working at it, maybe we'll dig something up.

I'm with you here. I think he meant the reversed numbers have the same multiple letters, and TTA changed the order of the pair so that we can know which letter belongs to that pair. We just don't know which letters corresponds to which pairs.
Now that I wrote this down, sounds pretty obvious. Laughing

Just realized something. Not counting the mirror numbers as different numbers, there are 7 different numbers.

2 of them are "5 numbers".
5 of them are "2 numbers".

That's one of the first things we noticed.

I know this thread is long, but please read it in full before posting, particularly if you're posting theories or discoveries. More likely than not, someone else has already come up with it.

Yes, people need to be working on this and not Morse code. The confusing part about that tweet is what does Jay mean by "number" when he says that "each number [could] have multiple letters"? By number, does he mean the pair? As in 75 or 83? Or does he mean each individual number, like 7, 5, 8, and 3? I get the feeling he meant to say pair instead of number.

Well, the pairs are numbers, they're just double digit numbers. Ya I think he means pair. After all, since the second digit is the first plus 1, the second digits probably mostly mean nothing.

Could this be a Crypooquip like situation, but the numbers lead you to the "a to q" like situation.

The octal converter doesn't work for me, the symbols just load as ?. I tried it with the description too, which we know is octal, and it didn't work. But I tried to make all the 2 digit numbers 1 digit by picking the smaller number. I did this because that way all the numbers would be small enough to convert from octal. Anyway I got this.

7532222
3561327
635623
773555

I don't really think it's in octal, but I think it's worth a shot. Could someone who the translator works for try that perhaps?

morse code without character breaks is a non-trivial problem—while i was initially encouraged by the binary 2/5 code it's not going to be an obvious solution.

That's weird. It worked for me. Octal does require 3 numbers tho.
