I would argue (and have, repeatedly) that deliberately making a puzzle that cannot be solved immediately, but requires another piece of information, both belittles the puzzle (by making it seem less important initially) and insults the viewer (by wasting their initial effort).

Also they don't form groups of three numbers, which is also a necessary thing when translating from octal into ASCII text.

Unless there's an offset of some kind. But octal is plainly barking up the wrong tree at this point, considering the hints we've been given.

I think so too. However, if that's not the case and this is just really difficult to crack, then it's well constructed rather than cheap.

But you can see at 2:06 in Entry #65 and 0:03 in Surveillance, they do look the same.

Well the translator I used uses 3 digits 1-8 for each letter

 		So the last tweet said that the numbers in his hacked tweet add to the list of ones we do have. So now we have 12 original numbers, not including mirrors. There weren't any mirrors in the number tweet, so basically that was to give us more info, or more pairs. Now the unique number pairs we have are, in total: 79, 75, 83, 27, 24, 68, 95, 39, 03, 35, 95, and 31. That's, again, 12.

Now here's my idea. Take the alphabet and make pairs starting with a and z, b and y and so on. You get 13 pairs. We have, if you take every original number we were given and also include its mirror, 12 pairs. (95, 59, 13, 31 and so on) I think we're missing one and we need to figure out which number pair (27 72) corresponds with each letter pair (az, by, cx, dw etc).... I haven't tried it yet but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Neither code can be solved on their own, we've got to combine the sets of numbers from both codes, right?

In a series predicated on the concept that there is more to these videos than we can see at the moment, I hardly think that "the camera movement is different" (which it is) debunks in any way the idea that the footage in Surveillance came from the same source as the footage in Entry #65 (which it almost certainly did).
