could the code ''continue on'' be the key? I mean, maybe totheark is letting us know that code to ''Continue deciphering the other codes''

I don't know, maybe it's just a crazy idea or had already been mentioned.

I've been thinking over this and... What could so few characters be translated to, to be so important? I mean my first thought was YouTube URL, but if its just another 'eyes see' don't know what I'll do..
The best i can think of right now is it announcing who TTA is or something.

My guess is that it will be TTA reaching out to Jay to meet him.

The second digit is increased by 1 between numbers, with initial number 02:

(02), 13, 24, 35, (46), 57, 68, 79

The second digit is increased by 2 between numbers, with initial number 03:

03, (15), 27, 39, (43), (55), (67), (79), 83, 95

Now these patterns only increase until the second digit hits 9, then it resets, as seen in the second pattern with all the absent numbers between 39 and 83.

I think this post is important enough to be repeated.

Jay's hints have been about finding the patterns, and we have found them. That's the only actual progress we've made. Now we just need to find out what to do with them. I don't want to discourage anyone from trying other ideas, but I really think this is what we need to focus on right now.

My problem here is that not all of the numbers can be accounted for with this pattern.

Keep in mind, folks, that when numbers have patterns, other patterns will revealed. For example, the 5's and 2's earlier.

Some of the codebreakers here and on Tumblr have dismissed "continueon" as being a red herring.

You know what we need? That lady who solved the Zodiac killer's ciphers. She would know what to do.

Wait a minute...

Operator Symbol...

Zodiac Killer Symbol...

...no, it couldn't be.

Good morning All.

Here's kind of a restatement, but simplified:

Take all of the figures used so far, without duplicates (Numerically for continuity):
/03/13/24/27/31/35/39/57/68/72/75/79/83/95/

The relationship between the digits is formative, except with the negatives.
/+3/+2/+2/+5/-2/+2/+6/+2/+2/-5/-3/+2/-5/-4/

But if we flip those to show positive figures, they seem to work.
/+3/+2/+2/+5/+8/+2/+6/+2/+2/+5/+8/+2/+5/+5/

Which leaves us with relationships +3, +2, +5,+6 and +8 for all figures.

There are so many patterns in this cipher that I'm starting to think it might be meaningless. Something this regular is either garbage, or only decryptable with a one time pad key.

Okay, I'll admit it. I'm totally lost.
This is an amazing thing for a code like this to have been this durable given the number of people on the boards.

Random thought: Could we do this backward? Maybe run a plausible message (alexisoperator) through several ciphers and see if we get similar coded results?

EDIT:

My money is on this, if what was mentioned OOG was actually executed. I'd bet that Jay/Tim find the key somewhere.

Yeah, that are my thoughts exactly. It still might be meaningful, but in that case it's surely a really weird & obscure cipher... Wink

I had completely forgotten that tidbit from the 2011 GMX, that Tim and Troy suggested that idea.

Given this current code, I am now thinking they have finally put that idea in motion.

If it is a simple substitution cipher, its too short to solve. Ive analyzed it for bigrams, trigrams, and quadgrams forwards and backwards and come up with nothing.
