I didn't know that, that's pretty cool. Guess that explains the trumpet.

Joseph may still be hung over after watching his team massacre the Irish.

Either way, more than likely we are going to see more twitter activity saying
"well me and Tim are going to go back to that hospital tomorrow...I've got a bad feeling about this."
We'll see that far before we see another entry.

New tweet:

Quote:
Adding in an unused number (46), I've found what might be a complete pattern: 13, 24, 35, 46, 57, 68, and 79.

Well, what the heck does that mean? I thought ciphers typically used symbols and stuff, like the Zodiac killer-- what do all the numbers represent?

Another new tweet:

Quote:
83 could come after 79, too. The pattern started off with 3 as the second digit. 95 might come after that too.

I can imagine Troy thinking, "Why can't you solve this code, Internet?" (presuming he has given us a code that can actually, eventually, be solved with just what we have now).

The code might just be unsolvable, and they're just trolling us. Although, the tweets seem to suggest that it can be deciphered. And with the number patterns, we may be finally getting somewhere.

The digits in the numbers follow a pattern. Looking at the 0th power digit, we have the sequence x3, x4, x5, x6, x7, x8, x9. When you look at the 1st power digit, we have the sequence 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x.

However, Jay's second tweet doesn't make sense to me.
Quote:

If we follow the previous sequence of a_n = {n, n+2}, the next number in the sequence would be 80, 91, 02, 13. I'm not sure where 83 and 95 would apply.

Oh, so does every pattern start with "3" in the second digit, Jay? >_>

I guess we need to figure out which number pairs are missing. Then we need to figure out which numbers mean what letters (crap...).

All that being said, the full order I've figured out is 13, 24, 35, 46, 57, 68, 79, 83, 95, 03, 15, 27, 39.

I don't get how J is going from 79 to 83, shouldn't the next number be 80?
