I've always been interested in setting up a Slendy ARG over here in the UK because I've yet to see one set here and there's plenty of places up north within walking distance of my girlfriend's house that would be pretty good for shooting.. Even if they're on the other side of the country for me.

Only real problem is I'd have no idea how to go about it properly. I'd be less than useless at the cryptic side of it. Or probably any side. Ah well.

Slightly off topic, but how would you guys feel about a Russian alternate reality movie, like Marble Hornets? We have a lot of various woods (should I say "forests"?) here, different industrial areas, whole abandoned villages, and, you know, a lot of snow in winter for three-four months straight. (I think white and black Slenderman would look cool in the white and black winter taiga.) I fully understand that the success of an ARM depends on good plot, acting and video editing skills, I mean, would the language be the barrier by itself? We can provide subtitles for the videos, write transcripts on a wiki or something.

It's not like I am ready to set up an ARM tomorrow, I just have a bunch of fellows who are interested, intelligent enough and may have enough free time by the next winter.

EDIT: I'm talking about English subtitles and transcripts, of course. But all the dialogs, inscriptions etc. will be in Russian, to cover Russian audience.

I'd watch it if you subtitle it.

Back on topic, it may even be a sequel of some sort, if Trosephim won't kill/exile the Operator for eternity. Smile No, actually, we will most likely need to create our own hostile entity.

On the bright side, we won't be pioneers here, so we can take mistakes of the Great Ones into account. If we'll really be going to shoot something, I will make sure that we have full story first (at least for 1 season), main locations accessible and all interaction with the viewers outlined. Also, video editing skills. I'm a responsible young man.

Is it OK to discuss it here or should I move into some other place (including "Get you stupid ideas out of the forum")? I feel an urge to make a poll.

I would watch this "spinoff" for the sake of the story I've come to love. While I eagerly await the finale of this season (because I've been wanting my questions answered as long as I can remember), I always welcome the idea of an expanded universe.

Think about it this way: The Slenderverse was the product of an attempt to expand Marble Hornets' universe, and it didn't really succeed; it became it's own separate universe from Marble Hornets'. Now if Trosephim were to produce it, involve new people, and maybe even use some of the same settings (places, locations) as Marble Hornets, just to convey the same universe, I think it'd be a really cool treat for some fans, especially if, towards the end of this spinoff series, it's revealed that the stories are intertwined somehow. It'd be cool, in my opinion.

That's me, anyways.

Haha, this is cool. A crappy idea for a real sequel of course, but for a parody...this is awesome.

They should go ahead with Alex's angst-ridden melodrama, Marble Hornets the Movie.

Complete with Operator appearances in the background that are never explained within the movie itself. Twisted Evil

I'd watch that! I totally would. xD

I'd like to see a new Slenderseries that has a majority female cast, seeing as most others are sausage fests... I would picture it as being something like "Picnic at Hanging Rock" or "The Virgin Suicides", but that's just me. Razz

Keratin Garden is a really good one that is almost entirely femalely cast.

But now I've watched all the videos and there's nothing left? What am I supposed to do now?? Sad

I second this question, I'd definitely be interested in lending a hand if possible.

I think "north" is too north for me- otherwise I'd love to join you guys!

OT: I hope it doesn't happen. If it did, they would need to do something special to please this forum...

This forum isn't the only place where Slenderman series' are welcomed though. UnFiction welcomes them, but it's also for ARGs. Smile
