I was wondering, was this code actually what they we're talking about? I remember someone mention that it would have some big spoiler or something; I didn't get the source of the info though.

I wouldn't say that. It confirms that Jessica is still alive somewhere, that totheark knows where she is, and they're using her to keep Jay interested in the whole mess. It also suggests that Jessica was never part of totheark or aware of any of the operator stuff. I think most of us suspected most of that, but now it's been confirmed, so we did get something new.

At the Marble Hornets GMX Panel, Troy was discussing one of the final TTA ciphers they were going to do. They were going to pull it out of Tim's cryptography textbook because all the other ciphers "were way too easy like the numbers to letters thing." So they said they were going to use a medium transposition cipher from his textbook (After saying this, they said "Shhh! Don't tell anyone!" Ironically, the GMX Q&A videos on YouTube have received over 40,000 views.) This code is a transposition cipher, so they obviously stuck to their word!
