Was it ever established whether that was The Operator's doing or Jay just jumped at it?

It wasn't specifically established, but to me why would you hold the camera steady while attacking someone? And it looked too abrupt. There's arguments for him jumping at the Operator or the Operator pulling him in with telekinesis

Jay had the chest cam on but the footage was coming from his handheld camera. Still, I prefer to think he charged The Operator. It was his most badass moment if he did.

Entry #65 is the most horrifying entry to me. The moment when the screen goes black while Tim's lying in the tunnel, there's a bit of distortion and then we're finally shown what it is that The Operator does to his victims, which also brings new meaning to so many of the other entries and the totheark videos, is very significant. Then on top of that we have the best emotional horror of the series, as The Operator tortures Tim and drives him to temporary(?) madness.

Entry #52 was pretty boss (Tackling Slendy? There has to be an award for that...) #64 and 65 scared me quite well. How close The Operator got to them was spooky. And Tim mysteriously driving away with no explanation or facial expression is spooky.

In my opinion, first season entries were the scariest of them all. The abandoned house, man... I used to be more frightened by Masky than by the Operator.
All those entries where the Operator just stood there, and no one could see him, and whenever static came up... I dont know there was something disturbing when I didnt know the characters well like I do now.
