I fail to see how it is dramatic to bring up the observation that it would be in everyone's best interest for the creator's of the series to not make comments that can be misconstrued as promises that they are ultimately unable to keep.

My comments have nothing to do with the break in the series thus far, it has everything to do with the fact that the characters said they would do something this weekend. It is past the weekend, and we have no entry. We probably won't get an entry until next weekend. Therefor, it is an entirely reasonable thing to state that they should have held off on the tweet until a day or two before the creators knew that the entry would be prepared for release.

I am here for the story, but the story would be much more enjoyable without these bulky pauses, followed by a tweet about a release, another pause, and then an awkward and obvious excuse about memory loss or travel.

If you don't like it, you could always just rage quit. No reason for you to continue to support something that constantly disappoints you.

I don't know why everyone is getting so up tight about Pravado and Magyks opinion. In fact, I agree with them.

They obviously care very much for the series and wish the creators would learn from this mistake. It's not the first time something like this has happened.

Unless something happened in game that prevented Jay from posting, like getting kidnapped, then all is forgiven. But this is something someone makes the excuse for every time something like this happens so...don't hold your breath.

Whining , bitching, and moaning is not going to make the entry come any faster.

I'm very upset that Trosephim can't control the weather.

Marble Hornets is supposed to entertain you. If you dont feel entertained anymore there's no point you should keep watching it or waiting for new entries.

They are constantly bitching about the wait time. If they feel that the series is an endless loop of unsatisfaction, then they should stop watching. And so should you, if that is how you feel. Did none of you stop to think that the reason Troy even bothers with having Jay tweet is to let everyone know that "hey, we're still here. We're still making Marble Hornets, just be patient"? Did that ever cross your mind? I'm guessing it didn't other wise you would shut your traps about it unless you're in the rage thread. Of course, even in the rage thread I will still rib you about your bitching, but in a more light hearted fun manner than I am doing here.

OK, how could we NOT realize they're still working on MH after Surveillance and that whole Tweetocalypse about the TTA code?

You musta gotta A+ in readin' n writin' class.

My remarks, as stated above, have nothing to do with the two month time lapse between entries. My problem stems from the misleading and unnecessary tweets that are always posted prematurely before an entry is ready - thus leading to a dumb excuse (that IMO detracts from the story) after it is inevitably and unfortunately delayed. They should not tweet until they are sure they can release. Not a hard concept to grasp.

There's a difference between hating something and becoming frustrated with the organization of the production process

You tell me to stop bitching about reasonable things, I'll tell you to stop being a buttkissing fanboy

I agree that they have to be more careful about the timeline when they're tweeting. If they're going to stick with the pretense that this is a real-time series, then they have to realize that anything they release, from entries to tweets, is going to be construed as part of the plot, and more importantly, the chronological spacing of the releases is part of the plot, too. We keep having mysterious gaps that will never be explained, because entries were unexpectedly delayed OOG. Fortunately, this series is rife with intentional mysterious gaps and lost memories, so most of the delays get explained away with little trouble. Still, every now and then, there's a delay that doesn't make much sense, and we're left wondering what on earth Jay was doing all that time, and thin excuses don't satisfy.

If they just planned their bursts of activity a little better and delayed starting a cluster of releases until all of the related, time-sensitive ones were ready, then they could control it. I'm not mad or anything, I just don't understand why they choose to work the way they do. But it's not about being impatient for new entries, it's about having accidental plot points that make the intended plot less clear after the fact.

I never said I "hated" anything or "hate" anyone. In fact, I think I articulated quite clearly that I was frustrated with their production process - which according to you is acceptable. If we're going to resort to name calling: I think you are actually being the one who is being a "buttkissing fanboy," refusing to challenge Trosephim on a talking point as small as taking extra care when it comes to the management of the in-game timeline. I fail to see how you complaining about me or anyone else making an observation about this is a "reasonable thing" to bitch about - nor did I ever tell you to stop bitching. I simply stated my opinion, and you jumped up my ass for it. I think you're misinterpreting my comments, to be quite honest, and maybe you should take a day away from unfiction and re-read what I said with a level head.

All this may be true, BUT twistedpuppet gets points for casually working "endless loop of unsatisfaction" cleanly into the conversation, Magyk's avatar being what it is.
