As already mentioned, maybe AreYouThe1701 will be like the Project Prometheus ARG - where you have a series of tests to see if you are "1701" material.

I'm thinking that nothing else will happen until the app launches. I keep seeing that it is to be launched at the 'end' of January but I also think that I saw the date Jan 22 somewhere. Either way, since they have a Superbowl spot, it will definitely be launched before Feb 3.

i would think we will have to wait for the Super Bowl (FEB 3) as there may be a clue in the Tv Spot Trailer.

Well, they had us going with the Dec 17th trailer..then the May 17th release date, then the 1701.. Just like Super 8 had 8's everywhere but little to do with clues, it was wishful/hopeful thinking..

Considering the Super 8 viral, remember they had to get everyone to subscribe to the Poppeteers cartoon and wait for all those who registered to be processed and get their certificates printed and mailed out..

It looks like there is going to be something similar with the registration and notification thingy when it starts, so hopefully soon things will kick off .. preferably before the kickoff of the Super Bowl..

So, hurry up and wait some more I guess..
