I'm now torn: if I have something in my vlog that seems to be doing more or less the same thing as SCP, should I make it SCP, or keep it as something else?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There may or may not be an SCP-related vlog popping up in the future, from my sources.

Would like to see SCP Foundation elements introduced to the Slender Man Mythos.
Actually, some people actually think it's already going on, because SCP-582, "Bundle," is apparently Slender Man himself. Reading it (http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-582 ), it's not surprising that people would think that.

A lot of folks would also disagree with Bundle being slendy due to its memetic properties being its -only- known quality.

I'd totally love an SCP series if it was executed properly. Can't wait for this "possible" one.

My current series probably won't -directly- involve the SCP, but it is going to involve a government division that investigates and covers up the existence of Mr. Slendy...

That's not really new, Crux_Crucible ("The Crucible") had some stuff along those lines. They also included the Fear Mythos too. It started out as CATYLIST, then it became CPIRA, and a lot of the members were key players and it was all about the rivalries within the group and stuff.

Also, you know... X-Files, Fringe...
If you like the idea, I say go for it. I'd love some more government/scific/conspiracy goodies in the Slenderverse. ;D

I've been interested in SCP as well.. But I doubt many people would appreciate the slendy-SCP combo.
Well, one of the SCPs is heavily implied to be Mr. Slim himself. It could work.
It's not Slenderman. It has a list of all of its manifestations, and none of them look even remotely like Slenderman. I was pretty convinced until that.
About Jeff the Killer...I honestly don't like the Rake creepypasta--though it's nowhere near as bad--but I think EverymanHYBRID's take on it is cool. So I won't say that I want a Jeff the Killer incorporation, but I won't say that it's doomed to failure either.

I'd actually love to see a series with several different Creepypastas put into it. Slendy, Jeff the Killer, BEN DROWNED, Eyeless Jack, The Rake, etc...
Also, the thing about the Jeff story being bad is true, but maybe if you added some logic to it, you could somehow incorporate it into the series.
There's a fanfic out there called ''Challenged Chronicles'' that is just absolutely amazing and is basically just a story in video format centered around a protagonist encountering several different creepypastas.
If only someone could make that into a video-series.
