What would satisfy you?

It seems the fanbase as it stands is getting fairly unsatisfied with the progression of Marble Hornets as a whole, and people have been posting in threads extreme disappointment and complete apathy about the series's direction.

To those who practice such constant dissent, I ask; what would satisfy you? Have we gotten to the point of having so many people who are incapable of being satisfied unless the powers that be pull something completely mind bendingly amazing off? I'm reminded of when Lost ended, personally. People had expectations through the roof for that show, and it got to the point where I believed that no matter what the crew did, a large portion of people would be ultimately unsatisfied. (And yes, I enjoyed the entirety of that show.)

This is not a "How would you like the series to end" thread. This is me querying your base, passing grade requirements for an ending to Marble Hornets you would deem satisfying.

Even though I rarely show hate to MH, there are a few things that would be nice.

Like TTA, can we get something realy spectacular and unthinkable in a video, Maybe opening a new character, new location, just something to twist the cards, just something more than the riddles, mysteries, and eyes.

Also with MH, they ned to be just a WEE bit more productive, I understand personal life is more important, but It would be like if PewDiePie just stopped, with no warning or explenation, and comes back 2 or 3 months later like nothing happened.

But otherwise I lovew everything about MH Very Happy

I just don't want a bullshit ending. Like, I don't want it to be totally open-ended, I want at least the major plot points all resolved (although I don't care what happens to the Operator tbh), but if some minor details are left unanswered for creepiness/story, that would be fantastic. The creators have already more-or-less said that's what they're doing, woo.

But honestly, whatever happens, I'm good with it. It's the journey that matters, not the ending, and it's been a fantastic story just based off of seasons 1 and 2 so far, and season 3, despite the release rate, is just so overwhelmingly good, a terrible ending wouldn't phase me.*

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
*unless it has some ridiculous plot twist that ruins the entire series, like if Jessica was Mrs. Tim's Mom

Fair topic. Here is what I seek:

* Explain the disappearence of the crew. Are they dead, or missing? If dead, who killed them, how, and why?
* What is the significance of film, or what affect does The Operator have on technology?
* Do J, Alex, and Tim truly experience skipping time jumps, or is that just perception?
* What is the significance of Alex's bracelet? (trolololol...)

I do NOT need to know the operator's M.O., or why he targetted who he targetted.

Sidenote: If it turns out that The Operator is Tim's father, I will do backflips and fistpumps.

Edit - sorry for the double-post. Wasn't thinking.

I just want some a few major points covered:

-Who is TTA, what is hir goal, and why is ze doing what ze is doing?

-what the ark is, if it's even a thing

-Hoodie's identity, and a confirmation of whether or not ze is TTA

-what happened to Jessica, Amy, Seth, Brian, and Sarah

-Alex's relationship with the Operator: partners, master and puppet, or whatever

Honestly, outside of some weird government conspiracy subplot or one of the characters having a corporeal psychic connection with the Operator, I don't see how we can know its origins or anything like that. That's fine, though. It's creepier without knowing.

What would satisfy me is this:

- Hoody reveal. Just an unmasking or whatever cool way they could do it. I want to know who's behind the hood.

- What the "ark" is. It's been mentioned so many times in the totheark videos. What is it?

- What happened to Brian, Seth, Sarah, and Jessica. Amy too. I just want to know what happened to the all of the people we have seen and are now missing. I guess I wouldn't be too upset if they didn't explain Sarah, but it'd still be cool.

- What exactly "totheark" is and who it consists of. I mean, this probably won't be revealed, but I'm just interested to know if it was just Hoody making the videos or if it was Masky too. Or maybe someone else was involved.

- And ending that makes me go: "Holy shit...wow." I don't really want an ending that makes me make a nodding motion with a slight smirk. If that makes any sense.

All I want to know is the meaning of that water bottle back in Season 1.

I do not mind the path the story takes, or the time it takes to release entries.

I take offense to this act of them dangling a carrot in front of our faces, and then yanking it away and making us wait another week - sometimes only to have it happen again.

I wish they would be more conscious of the very real and understandable possibility for delay when they tell us, be it in or out of game, that an entry is approaching. It's not that hard to wait an extra three days before tweeting about an upcoming entry, and it doesn't detract from the story should a delay arise.

That has nothing to do with this topic. This is about satisfying content, not about waits between entries.

I think that by reading various threads it would be very, very obvious what would satisfy people: More entries, more often. Not waiting up to two months for a new entry. There's nothing wrong with the content, just the time i takes to get it.

Ooh, gender-neutral pronouns. I myself have always been a fan of the singular "they".

Hmm... I want to know Hoody's identity and what happened to Jessica. Maybe even what happened to Brian and Seth, if it's not implied.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Brian is Hoody.

Also, Alex needs to be dealt with (let's be real, he probably has to die or disappear permanently... somehow his story needs to end.)

Beyond that, I'd probably be happy with whatever they decide to do. Razz

I have no qualms with Marble Hornets, I think they know what they are doing.

That being said... Lost can eat my balls!!! Those writers bullshitted there way through the entirety of that show. It became pretty obvious to me by like the 5th season that they had no idea where they were going or what they were doing when they were putting all that crazy shit in there, it's crazy shit for crazy shit's sake with no overall meaning whatsoever.....RAAAAAAGGGGEEEEEEE! Oh wait, wrong thread.
