 		A lot of people here are complaining about Tim & Jay not ambushing Hoody while he was crouching there in the corner.

Folks, I don't think this ambush idea is plausible. Even though Hoody was in a corner, there was an opening/window almost next to him. I think the moment Tim started rushing Hoody would have heard him and would've jumped the hell outta there. Remember, he's done this before in the other entry where Jay chased him in the same building.

He was probably aware of Tim's & Jay's presence anyway, I really don't think they had much chance of capturing him.

I don't think Tim escaped from the hospital like he said he did. I think he was Slendy-napped. Anyone who knows anything about mental hospitals knows you don't just escape from them. I think he would have had to have some outside help, IE, The Operator.


Tim's monologue also cements the theory that TO can choose who sees him in my opinion. Tim was diagnosed with all sorts of conditions that can be attributed to seeing TO, but the doctors couldn't him but Tim could. That's the exact definition of a hallucination, seeing something that no one else can see, and it's been said multiple times Tim had hallucinations.

We don't really learn anything. He quoted stuff from the sheet that Jay found in the tunnel (nothing new), said he was a patient there (nothing new, it was incredibly obvious since that hospital had records of tim there, anyone with a brain could have seen that tim was a patient there as a kid), said that everything might have been his fault (also something that was fairly obvious since everyone said alex was pretty normal until the operator came around, whereas tim had that whole running to rosswood as a kid thing in the file)

this entry was the definition of filler. it's bullshit too, because by now jay would have realistically watched that tape, and could have watched it tens of times in the time he's had. it's weird that he didn't say anything about the footage on it after the video ended or anything.

Not just that--now it's known to a wider audience.

When the forum hashes things out six ways from Sunday, it's easy to say something is obvious and clear, but there are viewers out there who don't frequent Unfic, SA, etc. Entries like this that confirm conclusions and firm up suspicions are probably a bigger help to those viewers than you'd think.

 		Tim has a bit of a Freudian slip thing going. He says "I used to live here, or, used to be a patient here..." and way back in Entry #55 he says "There's this old burned out hospital looking place back where I used to live..." To me that makes it sound like he spent quite a long time there (maybe years) and for all intents and purposes it was his home. He even says his mum was "never around to ask", so maybe he didn't even have a room at his mum's house after a while. Until this entry I thought that Tim would have only been at the hospital for a few days (perhaps weeks) at a time, but now it sounds much more serious.

Well, back in the days of Reagan, the first Bush and Clinton, which is when Tim grew up, people could stay at mental hospitals for decades at a time, because their only other options were homelessness or solitary confinement in a local prison. But after the economy went stale in the US, we started kicking dangerously disturbed patients out of the mental hospitals, onto the streets, then quickly tore the hospitals down. Nowadays, if you're a threat to yourself or others and admit yourself, you to the Emergency Room, check in to a "weekend retreat" type of place for up to a week, tops and are in and out before you have a chance to say "mental health." I know, because I've been there.

This is true. I was just over at the S/A forum thread for MH season three and there was at least one person who was surprised that Tim had been a patient there and said they'd never thought of that.

I think you'd have to blind, deaf, dumb and retarded not to have seen the "Tim was a patient at the hospital" device coming.

 		Great entry in therms of editing, acting and moving forward with the plot. I agree with the person who said it didnt even feel like 14 minutes. I liked it, even though I MISS THE OPERATOR.

By the way, i also like the theory that whatever is on the tape, it was recorded during Jay's "dreams"...

 		Hate to chime in so late. I watched last evening but haven't had the chance o post until now.

I'm glad to have a new entry and honestly quite satisfied in terms of character development, buildup of suspense, and IG confirmation of theories just like some of you already mentioned.

I liked the idea Pravado and company had about the found tape containing Jay's bad dream. I don't know if I would love it if the tape contained info related to Jessica, but still have to wonder about this possibility since she has been making appearances in the TTA vids.

I thought it was interesting that Tim admitted to crawling around in the maintenance tunnels (in addition to other places) at the hospital to escape his demons... Does this have any implication on who placed the medical records in said tunnel?

All in all, I enjoyed the (kind of charmingly inept) slow chase and the fact that Jay and Tim didn't end up playing whack-a-Hoodie. I think it still remains to be seen if hoodie is friend or foe as (s)he continues to supply leads and furnish additional info.
