[EMAIL] Melissa asks me to recuite others [confirmed halo 2]
Quote:
Major Hellion Youngblood,
I am glad you plan to attend our live training event.
Our mission is very important and it is vital that we have skilled, experienced combat simulation players in attendance. Can you help me recruit some? The combat training simulation I will make available to my crew on Thursday will be available to all civilians on November 9th. Now that most members of my loyal crew have reserved admission, I am more comfortable extending the invitation to new friends and allies. I would like to give you permission to inform them of the event.
Admission is limited, but if they follow the same reservation procedures, I will do my best to accommodate and confirm admission to those who contact me first.

"Availiable to civilians Nov. 9" could be interpreted as they'll be selling copies of Halo 2 at these locations.
That would rock so hard.

Selling? Ha. I'm still hoping for free ones.
But would they have regular, special edition or uber kule ILB edition?

Send a message to Dana. In the header, list the city where you will be attending the training exercise, followed by your name and rank (but you don't have to have a rank. If you sent me poems or stories, if you played my games, that will do

uum, people, I think she just means it is multiplayer at that those locations... she didn't say the combat training software, just the combat training... veyr likely still referring to the training exercise - playing live against a bunch of people... that will quite obviously also be made available to civilians on 11/9...
but I'd 2nd that a free of Halo 2 would be cool... I don't need one though, already got regular and SE versions preordered and paid in full... need 2 to play on both my xboxs

I got one of those too. Makes me wonder if perhaps enrollment at these events was not as high as expected. Not that I'll complain if its all hardcore ILB junkies there, in fact I'd prefer it.

Or DC.
Since, you know, DC Squad helped her kill... um... herself...
Hmm, maybe not.

That email isn't particularly helpful. Is Mel+ saying that she wants us to invite other people to the LIVE combat on Nov. 4?

looks like the PMs and related planning folk havent seen the numbers of registrations that they had planned on. if they planned an event for 300 people and are only seeing 150 sign up, they will want to move a little beyond the "target audience" for this event, ie, beekeepers from all over.
a packed room is better (for publicity people) then a half empty room.

Same message to me. I can't really convince many other people around here it's worth the $250, but I'll keep trying.
