Non-ARG Game: Apocalypse Later

My co-moderators and I are looking for new players for our play-by-email RPG. I've met some awesome ARG players here on unfiction, and I know that many of you are full of the sort of attention to detail, curiosity, and imagination that we love in players for our game. The Premise:

The end of the world--or the beginning of a new age--dawned on December 21st, 2012, when storm clouds filled the sky the whole world around and a spectral host ran in a massive Wild Hunt, pursuing who knows what. That Wild Hunt proved to be the end of a long magic drought that had caused so many of Earths greater mythical beings to fade into the background of society, and the more human ones--like vampires, werewolves, and shapeshifters--to hide in the shadows and play human.

Now people must face the reality. Vampires, werewolves, and so many other things are very, very real. Supernaturals must choose whether to step out into the open and end their secrecy or cling to their old ways. And around all this revelation, battle lines are being drawn. Somewhere, bubbling just under the surface, a war has been raging between beings those of Earth have long called demons and angels.

Current Events:

In-Game, we have been playing since 2010, so the archives can look a smidge intimidating, but we are just at the beginning of a new plot. The main focus of the current plot arc is a proposed Werewolf Registration Act, but there are a number of juicy side-stories, as well--including a little bit of Fear Mythos, a Mermaid Princess looking for a way to save her people, a mysterious hit list targeting a number of psychics, necromancers, and an Exiled Egyptian God of Chaos seeking vengeance and lost memories.

We are undergoing a bit of reorganization, splitting the group into two separate groups to give our in-game organizations more room for creativity.

Right now, we are looking specifically for new characters for the organizations Aegis and the Chaos Order. Aegis is a group of supernatural vigilante heroes and refugees, trying to do right in the world. (Link for Aegis Info.) The Chaos Order is an ancient order of supernatural freelancers, mercenaries for hire. (Link for Chaos Order Info.)

Once we've got the new group ready, we will also be looking for Highers, who are humans and Chosen who are part of an ancient order dedicated to hunting down demons and putting an end to the demonic war. The Highers will have their own fun plots--including but not limited to the Exorcists' War against a foe that has been secretly targeting them for potentially centuries and a plot involving Dracula.
