I've been intrigued by the idea that Jay had a "mini-wipe" during the big wipe ever since he wrote on the tape in Entry #50 (as if he was expecting to get mind wiped again.) That would explain why the whole 7 months got wiped, because it would have been everything since the last opportunity that Alex/the operator had to mindwipe Jay, and need not go back as far as Entry #26. It would also mean that present day Jay would have no awareness of the missing gaps, and that he may have been manipulated a lot more than he is aware of during that time.

Please, no more Inception crap. That movie was terrible and is way overrated enough as it is-- don't let it infect other, superior media.

I thought Inception was a very entertaining. It had an interesting story and some good action bits. I don't think it's as smart a film as some people like to make it out to be, interesting, but not smart. :V

Oh, Inception was an amazing movie. However, the entire "dream within a dream" trope is rather ridiculous in its own right and has been overdone. That's why the meme is so rampant.

I thought it was like watching a really long episode of Family Guy, where they have cutaways within cutaways, within a flashback within a recalled memory of an episode that primarily was composed of clips from other episodes and featuring the music of Conway Twitty. Just because the guy who directed it made one good Batman movie doesn't make it a masterpiece...

Oh honey, if it were an episode of Family Guy, there would be an annoyingly extreme liberal talking dog that makes you want to punch him in the face until it's unrecognizable.

Here's something I can't let go...

How EXACTLY did Tim let Hoody get away? J turns his back for a second - at Tim's request, no less - And suddenly, Hoody's just gone. Poof. And J's following TIM away from the location.

So basically....

Wild Hoody appears!

Jay: Let's stay here and let 'it' go about its business.
Tim: No, no. We follow.

Then, Tim instructs Jay to go into the other room, preventing them from further following Hoody who can then escape. ...?

It's pretty clear that Tim plays a sincere role in this (wanting to reveal all secrets, chase after Hoody, vent some anger)

Hoody must have known they were following. His/her role consists of: walking right by Jay and Tim (not long after hearing Tim's noisy tantrum); drawing attention to a specific spot in one room (they were sticking around to look for something without any real leads. Then, SHOCK! A wild lead appears!); exiting the building and resuming the normal mysterious (non-)existence.

Could the tape have been meant for someone else?
Jessica maybe?
Or even Alex?
(That is, depending on the identity of Hoody)

Has anyone else noticed how literally nobody on this forum is familiar with the concept of Occam's Razor? All these Inception style theories and wipes with in wipes, and multiple Hoody's...There is no reason to assume that it is a more complicated solution than a simpler one just for wild speculation's sake. That's like saying there must be two Charlie Sheens because sometimes he acts like a crackhead and sometimes he doesn't besides Charlie isn't even his real name. Now if we saw two Charlie Sheens talking to each other while one was hitting a crack pipe, then it would be safe to assume.

It's cited constantly by some people here. It's just that others get wrapped up in their theories.

There is some truth to this, but not for Charlie Sheen. Slash, the guitarist, is not always the same guy. First of all, the dude doesn't really age, second, no one's ever seen him without the hat and sunglasses and it's not hard to paint tattoos on yourself and wear a top hat and sunglasses and maybe a wig and go out there and play guitar. And this theory has been around long since before South Park made it famous in "Crack Baby Basketball," because I've heard it before. I think the real Slash is living it up somewhere in the Bahamas or something while he pays people to dress like him and play everywhere.

Some say, Slash is mutliple people, but really he's not and was on Top Gear. He's probably the Stig or something awesome. And now for something completely different.

Oh god, have you ever noticed how you haven't ever seen Slash and Hoody in the same place at the same time.....IT'S BECAUSE THEY'RE THE SAME PERSON!" It all makes so much sense now!
