I think John Harrison's lines go something like this...

"You think you are safe?... You are not.
You think your world is safe?... It is not."

Meaning he actually says both of them in some type of succession with each other in Into Darkness, not that one or the other does not appear in the movie and is only a clue for the ARG or a red herring.

Won't know for sure until May...

Well, after seeing this new stuff I am leaning more towards a Gary Mitchell-like guy transformed into a superhuman rather than a Khan redo..
The reverb chamber on his voice emulates Mitchell's and he says He is "better" at everything...
Interesting.......

I was googling around the web to see if there was anything related to Star Trek that I've might of missed...and came across this page

http://adage.com/article/digital/paramount-s-star-trek-darkness-app-release-prize-super-bowl/239556/

Prize? Did anyone get anything other than the trailer? Prize suggests something a little more...exciting? Might just be me..

Heh, in the crowd reaction clip, there's a guy in shades and a dark jacket looking *straight* into the camera, grinning like an idiot the whole time.
I'm surprised he isn't waving and saying "Hi Mom!"

Unfortunately I think it was the extended trailer. They are also promoting the ticket stuff on Twitter.

So, two days early release AND in 3D? Excellent!

If there is going to be an ARG out of the areyouthe1701.com..it's probably going to be a quick, intense game...IMHO.

More US frustration...
1) The 'visit starfleet academy' being physically in San Fran (tho that's restrictive to anyone who has to travel)
2) The 'Purchase Tickets' mission through Fandango, which does not cover Canada. And "Zip" code option to use GPS - come on, you know there are Canadian app users, and the terms say it's for Canada and US. You could at least provide a Canadian ticket purchase option instead of Fandango.
I checked on Cineplex, and they indeed do have an early Fan Screening listing for which you can purchase ticket, now.
For Cineplex listings in Toronto, click here. Already nabbed mine for Scotiabank theater May 15.
I mean really, why not partner with Cineplex, or with Movietickets.com even, much like Fandango? *sigh* (or at least don't provide a US-only mission for Canadian users)

I wish developers would realize that Canada really is not like the US =P

Ok people, I'm glad the things are running. I will lurk for now. "Lurk" because, you know, "This app is not available in your contry"...

Not nice... Are they excluding outlanders again?

P.S. OT: wanna arrange a new music band: "Excluded Outlanders"

The points updates are pretty finicky. I have signed up for the daily contest thing 3 times and only have 2 extra points which means i have missed at least one.

I have three sweepstakes apps. One Daily that won't submit my info and one that I've entered about 5 times now and only got 1 point. Then there's the daily entry that I've entered three days(?) now and only gotten 1 point.

As for the sneak show tickets I get nothing.

They are having serious problems early on with this thing just like they did towards the end of the first movies ARG.

I don't wanna be Mr. Complainypants, but I find this app really irritating. You want me to just jump through a bunch of hoops finding stuff I've already seen or see trailers I would've seen anyway while checking in daily or even hourly on an app that doesn't function very well? Thhpppptttt....

I'm hoping there is something more elaborate on the way. So far not fun.

Yeah, I'm just hoping that this isn't a symptom of how the ARG/areyouthe1701 is going to be run...
