What is the single best Slender Man?

It can be from any series. Specific scene.

I think there's already a thread for this...

goes digging

Turns out there's just a thread for 'scariest moment', I think I crossed my Slender Nation and Unfiction wires, they hashed out 'best' recently.

For me, I'd go with Dark Harvest's sighting in 'Greg's Final Log'

Re: What is the single best Slender Man?

My List:

1) Marble Hornets
2) Tulaeffect
3) Darkharvest00
4) Tribetwelve
5) Everymanbecauseigothighbrid

As for my favorite Slenderman, it'd either be MyDarkJournal's or Akoolstick's

Jesus christ.

I guess my favorite moment would also be the slenderman from Greg's Final Log.

Best in terms of what? Appearance? Distortion? Behavior? General scariness?

Personally I'd have to say either his appearance in Greg's Final Log from DarkHarvest, or Update #7 from tuplaeffect.

Wow this is a hard decision.

I've got to say that it's still a tie between Marble Hornets and Tulpa Effect for me.

It's just the subtlety of the distortion and the look of the Slender Man that so closely fits the early-mythos description.

The look of the Slender Man in this one is just too surreal. It gets me every time.

This gem right here from TribeTwelve, demonstrating some of their best work:

I think it would be interesting, when all the bigger series and whatnot are complete, to compile all of the actors / behind the sceners who were involved in being / making Slondors.

Oh, "specific scene," I didn't notice that.

I would say Alex's death in EverymanHYBRID. It's one of the few times I've seen a Slenderman really be menacing, with the triggering the crash, Vince waking up, gradually working his way to find the trash bag, & his obvious fear as he gets in his car & runs away. And the whole time, Slenderman is just watching in the background.

Okay, so maybe some of that is a little cliche, & it's not the best written scene in the world. The point is, in that scene, he was an actual threat & character, not something that just hid in the background for me to spot & go "OMG slendy iz watchin' u masturbate!"

The first four minutes of Entry 65 are one of the scariest appearances I've seen so far.
You only really see him for a couple of seconds - the terrifying part is the effect he has on Tim (and reality).

The first time I watched it I spent most of the video with a hand over my mouth.

My jaw dropped and my eyes were bulging out due to the mindfuck of Entry #65. I agree that this is one of the most intense moments. Shocked
