New ARG/Netprov



According to weather officials, it's snowing in Troy.

But the residents know better. What's falling from the sky doesn't seem like snow at all. Everyone calls it "the Soot."

Come and follow the residents of Troy as they uncover the mystery of the #sootfall.

Just to let you know, one post for the TH is okay, but don't post in here anymore. Common mistake, but you'll get eaten alive for it... :s I'm excited to see where this one goes!

 		This is a new '#netprov' (internet improvisation, networked improv narrative) to start up very soon. Recently, the #netprov created by Mark Marino about Spencer Pratt finished and it looks like #sootfall at least has his blessings.

 		So, this is basically just a social media-fied chaotic fiction?

Edit: Against my better judgement, I've joined up. Twitter account is @FSynchroncity, although I'm not too sure how they want us to participate as of yet. There is an additional twitter account unmentioned on the press release, @HensKnits, and a a new in-game forum and website.

 		Sorry for the double-post, but figured I'd alert anyone who is interested that the actual "event" is now occurring. At the moment it is mostly through twitter, but this is a good time to establish a "persona" in the story's prologue. I'm actually rather interested at this point, so it would be nice if other people stepped in to flesh out the cast a bit.

Hey F. I sent you a private message but you never responded. I wasn't sure what to make of that, so here I am to officially state that I joined #sootfall as well.

I am playing the character @SaturdayStrange, who, by the way, is a man not a woman. Laughing

And it appears that both of our characters are completely opposite in intention. That has certainly made this interesting.

I have to wonder if our "creative aggression" ruined the whole project, though. Or am I silly to even consider that? Dunno

If a PM can't make a game work {be it ARG, RPG, or otherwise} because two players work against the main stream, or against each other, or against the NPCs, then that's a shit PM. Period. Twisted Evil
