And piling dirt on top doesn't help anything. Especially if he wanted Jay to find it.

After watching Entry #65 when it was uploaded, Hoody assumed that Jay would immediately go looking for answers in the "He is a Liar" room, since that's where the chestcam footage from #65 ends. That's why Hoody put the tape there. He thought it would be the first place Jay looked.

But it obviously took a lot longer for Jay and Tim to go there. Hoody went back in Entry #66 to make sure it was still there. While it was still there, he didn't anticipate that dirt would've ruined it.

Anyone else notice that Tim had a chest camera?

This entry proves that Alex could be around, so piling dirt on it is reasonable since Alex could have found it before Jay could if it wasn't so hidden

Which proves that the entry took place on the same day as Entry #64 and #65.

Yes, because this took place after the chest cam stopped filming at the end of entry 65.

I didn't think twice about the object Tim pulled from his pocket at the end, the first time I watched it, just assumed he was checking to see if his phone was working. On second examination I'm almost positive it's the gun. Look at the way he's holding it in both his hands and how long it appears. Also he looks extra alarmed when he looks down at it, and continues to clutch it in both hands as he walks away. So even if Tim has no memory of beating Alex, he never told Jay that when he woke up with a gun in his pocket. No more secrets? Perhaps Tim is a liar after all.

I'm confused about why Alex was in the hospital. I assumed that he was there to kill Tim, but when he hears Tim coughing and looks into the room, he just walks away. Kind of odd, isn't it?

Tim wasn't in the room Alex walked away from--he'd been pulled outside earlier. Alex hears the coughing and heads off in that direction, peering into rooms looking for him as he passes.

Am I the only one who suspects Hoody doesn't necessarily want Alex dead, but wants Alex to feel/appear threatened because it draws out the Operator? The attack on Alex in the abandoned building was thwarted by Alex himself, but the attack in the woods with the waving of a rock, and the attack here with the waving of a gun--maybe the Operator's intervention is the entire point.

Been thinking more about why Hoodie left that tape there. If s/he didn't want Jay and Tim to see it, I can't see why they wouldn't have just destroyed it or hidden it in a more secure location than just under some rubble in an easily accessible abandoned building. Someone could have accidentally stepped on it and crushed it or something. So I'm going to have to tentatively conclude that Hoodie intended Jay to find this. Although I don't get why Hoodie wouldn't just send it to Jay or Tim in the mail or something.

But why would Hoodie want Tim and/or Jay to see this? I've got a few really loose guesses.

1. To show Jay Hoodie isn't afraid to air hir "dirty laundry" so to speak and prove they're "trustworthy". Alex hid his tape of Brian and tried to kill Jay for watching it. This could be Hoodie's bizarre way of trying to earn Jay's trust and show they're a good ally. Hoodie will show Jay hir incriminating tapes when Alex wouldn't.

2. This could be to try to make Tim feel more guilty. Hoodie pretty much orchestrated Tim and Jay's team up and is now trying to cement their partnership further. Tim only started working Jay more when he started to accept some responsibility for his part in this, guilting Tim like this further will make him even more amiable towards Jay.

3. To intimidate Jay and/or Tim. "See this guy who almost killed you? I totally pwned him. Fear me."

4. Simply to show the dynamic duo what happened and warn them that Alex is still around. Hoodie can't physically tell them without risking giving away hir identitiy.

A few other thoughts: Could Alex know Hoodie's identity? He seemed to be screaming quite angrily, although that could simply be because he's a crazy ass like that. Still, I can't help but wonder if he knows exactly who it is.

Hoodie's Identity: Most of the sparse evidence we have seems to point towards Brian. He's pretty much the only minor character besides Jessica that ever gets discussed anymore. Still, if Hoodie is in fact Brian, Trosephim sure is making it really obvious. Part of me wonders if they aren't building up Brian as a red herring to throw us off the scent of Hoodie's true identity.

If Hoodie was Amy, it could explain why Hoodie would hesitate to shoot Alex. Even if she blames him for whatever happened to her in entry 26, she might not have the heart to murder her ex bf in cold blood like that. It could also explain why Alex was so pissed off. Anyway, I'll be really happy if Hoodie is pretty much anyone other than Brian. Brian would be such a boring, unsurprising reveal at this point. Even if it is probably him.

Also there's something inherently funny about the idea of calling the first entry this season where Alex physically appears in the present time "filler".

Well, it's not exactly real time.

3:37 - a short sigh. Sounds male. Could it be Alex approaching or is it Hoody?
I raise this tiny point only because there's so much audio removed in this video that what's left may be significant.

Well unless you count entry 26 I don't think Alex has ever appeared in real time.
