To everyone that is saying Tim was conscience at the end of the video and therefore is hiding something from Jay, he was limping pretty badly. Is that not a ghost pain that is a symptom of being Masky? Meaning Tim isn't hiding anything as he wouldn't remember? Or maybe he woke up as Tim, sam the mask, Coughed and changed to Masky. Meaning whatever TiMasky was doing at the end would be Masky business. Also, that was definitely a phone. It was too square, and the way he held it screamed reading a screen in the sunlight

Tim didn't cough then "change to Masky" at the end of the video. Coughing by victims of the Operator has always been shown to be a trait exhibited while in their "normal" state. When Tim is the Masked Man, he shows no signs of illness, at least that we have seen. I think what we're seeing here is Tim return from his Masky persona.

According to the Twitter clues, I have settled on a date of October 7 for the events of 64/65/67.

Also, after rewatching, I agree that Tim had Alex's gun in his pocket at the end of the tape. Tim is still lying to Jay. The Hooded Man wants Jay to know.

For those saying Tim was never seen in his Masky state without the mask, I believe entry 64 shows it very well at the end, when he drives away and leaves Jay alone in the park. Minutes before this, as we see on entry 65, he was horrified calling Jay's name, and then ignores him. Sounds like another persona to me.

Does that really look like a gun that Tim is holding at the end? It looks overwhelmingly like a phone, to me.

I think the only reason to think it's a gun is the fact that he looks so surprised and even looks around, but the way he's holding it seems a lot like a phone, like he's touching the screen while holding it with the other hand, maybe he's surprised about the date/hour?

Okay, I want to toss in an extended opinion here:

A lot of people have been complaining that it makes no sense and that it's sloppy writing to have Hoody just hide the tape in the corner and hope Jay or whoever the intended recipient was just happen to find it. The thing about Hoody is that he is clearly not an entirely sane individual. He runs around in a mask and gloves all day, takes incredibly bizarre video edited in weird ways, and (if Hoody is a part of TTA, which seems fairly clear) he uploads bizarre videos with incredibly hidden messages.

Clearly, Hoody is, because of Slender-psychosis or some other reason, is not a completely sane individual. His thought processes are not normal. Jay is a normal individual, so far. If Jay had hid a tape in the hospital so that Tim could find it, that would be weird. For Hoody to do so is just Hoody demonstrating another part of his weird character.

Furthermore, from a meta-standpoint, this allows the discovery of the tape to be a plot point beyond "Oh this showed up in the mail" or "look what TTA posted!" It also fulfills the tradition that every season, Jay finds or steals a single tape with incriminating things on it that propels the story along a little bit. Sure, Hoody's insanity is a little bit of a plot device, but all movies are strings of plot devices that are used to set up interesting things to watch, so BFD.

And yes, while some things that we learned in this new entry might have been previously implied, don't we WANT to have things confirmed for us? Sure, we all suspected, pretty heavily, that Tim was Masky, but when they pulled off that mask early in season 2, we got the opportunity to punch the air a bit and say "knew it! theory confirmed!" It's just like how a lot of us are pretty sure Hoody = Brian. If that's so, we WANT that revelation. We WANT to have that moment where Hoody takes off his mask/ has his mask taken off and we see that yes! We were right! It WAS Brian! What we DON'T want is to never have it be revealed only for Trosephim to say in the first post-MH video "oh yeah, Hoody was Brian."

Now, the best thing about MH are the subtle things we learn from videos- sometimes only after repeat viewings (I thought it was awesome when I watched the seemingly pointless entry #20 again only to realize HOLY CRAP! THAT'S MASKY'S JACKET!). So, we learned that Alex is still alive and active in the area (which was pretty obvious, but not for sure, from entry 64. This video is the kicker). We learned that either Tim is still hiding things OR has been Slendified somewhat recently. We have also learned that Hoody is willing to take a more direct approach- a sign of growing desperation?

Above all, it gives us new material to work with in later entries. Which makes this entry not trash at all.

I would like to point out that many people are saying this video was edited. I don't think that's the case, remember that the tape is damaged. Damaged by dirt, mishandling, and TO's effect on all tapes that he appears on.

So does Masky still limp, or not? Because that was a heavy limp at the end. Also, it was 100% a phone. and I don't think he looked that shocked about it, just intrigued.
