 		Have either of you asked about the tarot deck yet? If you wanted to wait on that, forget I asked. We could just tell him that we found a tarot deck and it had a message to Anna from her dad and we were curious to find out more about it. Or something.

 		So, in "Justice", there are two references to the Bible. The corners of the Earth and seek justice. I found this "Learn to do what is good. Seek justice. Correct the oppressor. Defend the rights of the fatherless. Plead the widow's cause." Isaiah 1:17. I don't know the relevance of this, but it kinda sounds like the situation of Anna and her mother. And then there was the whole four corners of the world thing, which someone mentioned already.

Yes, that seems to meet the plot situation perfectly. Even more so than my Revelations quote. With that said, I DID e-mail them earlier today about the revelations thing. They're probably laughing at me on all the corners of the earth right now. Wink

Do you feel like e-mailing them about your idea? I figured it doesn't hurt to send them questions about reasonable hypotheses. They said something about that being okay earlier, I think?

i flipped and twitsted and turned image of the newspaper but there was no other legible writing, i think it might just be ink transfer.

The card I am the keeper of (The World) also has the 4 corners of the earth in it (altho just one of the many interpretations of what the 4 figures in the 4 corners symbolizes.) Perhaps if the story doesn't advance because of something else, we might need to send in either my card or S.P.I.'s Wheel of Fortune card (and the story will, I assume, progress in entirely different directions depending on the card submitted.)

Also, TallulahBelle. The illustrations your husband has created so far are JUST INCREDIBLE (I especially like the Tower and the Chariot one). Could he pls make me one too sometime. (Also, if possible, and ordinarily I don't like to tell artists what to do, but not with the middle fifth figure of the dancer on the card unless he puts some clothes on her, haha.)

 		Having messed around with the page a bit, there's something very odd about that writing on the newspaper. At first glance, it looks like it's just an inverted imprint from the other page, or bleed through from the page underneath.

Except, it can't be. Look closely at it; the words seem to be backwards, but the letters are the right way around?!

Either it's [meta] just a texture applied to the image to make it look like a newspaper that doesn't stand up to scrutiny or [ig] it's something we need to pay more attention to.

My gut tells me it's just lorem ipsum text, but I thought I'd mention it just in case it means more to someone else than it does to me; I can't make out any of the words well enough to tell one way or the other.

Unrelated: I was reading one of the links from the blog about the meaning of the tarot cards, and an idea occured to me. We can influence the story by playing cards; can we also influence the story by playing the cards upside down? So, I'm Temperance; if we play my card, we're suggesting we want them to work together. But, if we play my card upside down, we're telling them to work alone, yes?

That's a really good notion. Looks to me like lion, ox, man and eagle?

I'm thinking that perhaps this emphasis on teamwork means we should send in card after card and choose in consensus? If so, I definatly vote for The World.
What do you guys think?

I'll let him know you liked them, he'll be very happy. However, I think it's gonna be difficult to get him to do decent versions of ANYTHING Smile I'll ask, tho.
