why would they make all those shapes in the field?

You might have something.

They did similar during the last ARG.

Excactly! This looks pretty interesting. And in some kind similiar.
Do you remember, one of us was there and filmed the writings on British hills? Here some pics I reblogged that time: http://merzmensch.blogspot.de/2009/04/star-trek-romulaner-wirklich-gelandet.html

The scripts are different, from those ornaments above, but perhaps the fonts Jamesingeneva found could be very near to it.

Don't forget the experience of Champollion who tried to decypher those "weird ornaments" in Egypt pyramids, even of all his co-scientists were laughing about him saying: "Oh, c'mon, those are just decorative patterns". But he proved, this were the language. Wink

First Look Featurette - English

Not sure if there is anything in this one or the other languages ones but I hope so. It's been very dry so far.

I looked at 17 seconds (Bones McCoy, looking tense) and at 1:07 (a window about to be smashed through be someone) but couldn't see anything of note. Having said that, I am doing this from my iPad, so someone who can step through the video more accurately than me might want to give it a closer look.

Interestingly, the video is of such a length that 0:17 and 1:07 fall directly opposite one another, which I thought was interesting given that they're numbers of note.

I tried to draw the middle image from the photos previously posted.
If anyone is good at the Vulcan script maybe they can decipher it? The symbol up top looked romulan though.

Well, that's an obvious alternative to getting aerial pics of the symbols. Now I just feel stupid. I'll go sketch them out after work and post the sketch later tonight.

Unless the badge is going to be needed for the ARG, which would be cool, that's almost like getting a message that says "MAKE SURE TO DRINK YOUR OVALTINE"

Ive been to Northpark and Firewheel in the past few months (Dallas), so it could be either. I've also driven past IMAX on Webb Chapel, but I don't think that that one is on the list for the prescreening. (My 20 points update happened while i was in bed)

Whoever finds the writing, please attempt to get an overhead view that we could possibly translate.

It's definitely not at the Webb Chapel IMAX location. When I went to see The Hobbit there they had a sign in the IMAX lobby specifically stating that they weren't showing Star Trek. (well, they're not showing it now but hopefully they'll be showing it when it's actually released!)

The game trailer sound mission still hasn't worked for me. I have no idea what to try now on it.

I won a badge too! Thanks so much to those people who emailed about winning theirs - my email was stuck in my spam folder. I would have completely missed it if it weren't for the heads up!

And to all the people having app problems - I've started deleting/reinstalling the app every morning. Your account info is saved as long as you use the same email/facebook/twitter/whatever, and it seems to force the app to update a lot quicker.

Just did the two missions posted today (the art show one, which you don't have to be in California for, just find the picture online, and the model one) for a total of 70/100 points as an Ensign. is this the current max, for somebody who hasn't been in San Francisco or the Toy Fair?
