I don't have this app but had to look up the art show. Great work that any Star Trek fan will enjoy.

The badge mission was very strange. It appeared on my app once and then disappeared after I entered. I thought it was an hourly thing. Also, if you really want one, QMx sells them https://store.qmxonline.com/Star-Trek_c_6-2-0.html

Well they fixed the game mission it took about 2 seconds for it to register this morning.
The other two worked just fine. I've completed all but the toy fair and san fran and only have 51 points so tehJTK you must have something completed that I don't have or haven't had the chance yet to get.

So... I didn't miss the actual ARG? Just mainstream promotion app crap? Cool. Hopefully there's a real ARG.

Drove past an Imax theater today and got 20 points for doing it.. Up to 71/100 now..Yay!??
Interesting that the iPhone was in my pocket in the car and somehow it knew I had passed within a few blocks of one.. Smartphone it is!

If you run the Star Trek app and turn on its location services, it keeps it running in the background. I hate when apps do that if not for an active reason because it can drain the battery - here, if it's just to recognize being near an IMAX, better to turn it off, then turn on the GPS when you're near one to get the points. That's likely why you're getting points "while it's in your pocket" - because it's still running.
I turned my gps off for the app, so that may well be why I missed out on points when I saw two movies recently in IMAX. Oh well. Will have to remember next time...

also, if you have the fake gps programme you could change your location to any imax within the US and get the points. it worked with mine

And apparently you don't have to be right at a theater..i got mine and I haven't been to a movie in months. However, I do pass by a casino that has an IMAX theater in it..from my car on the road...to the theater...is roughly a mile..
Just an FYI

The apostrophe is unnecessary: the Apple logo, the IBM logo, the Sun Microsystems logo. Oscar and Oscars are both used as singular and plural within the logos themselves. I know you're board waiting for the ARG to begin unnecessary copy editing on forum will only lead to bureaucracy — and no one wants that.
